  2. Where do i start, i really need some advice, ill give you a bit of background information. Around 6 years ago i got into some financial trouble, my business ran into trouble and i had to stop trading, this cause me to change my finances quite drastically and i had to get a job. a job i still do now. I also lost my rented house a couple of years later and had to live in a caravan while my wife stayed with relatives, winding forward we managed to save enough for a deposit to buy a house last year, this had a knock on effect because we sold everything to get the house. This caused me to default on some debts, and one of these was a credit card with £5k owing, for years I've heard nothing until recently the debt has been passed to Intrum Finance (who i believe are First Credit) I have yesterday received a county court form to the value of £5900 ish (i don't have it with me) for a debt that was defaulted 5 years ago.... i will admit i did bury my head about my debts just to get through. I have no savings and there is no way i can afford to give them this amount now, i know its my own fault, i got myself into this, but i never expected my financial circumstance to change so drastically. if anyone can help, i would be eternally grateful
  3. I have had a problem with the Norfolk and Norwich hospital, in brief I had pains in my chest and couldn't breathe and pain in my left arm and went to the A&E on Tuesday the 8th may in the evening I was left for 6 hours and was told nothing was wrong to go home and take paracetamol, myself and my wife argued that I was in pain and couldn't breathe, I had a chest X-ray and a blood test and was still told nothing wrong so I went home, I had the same pain on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th but didn't bother going back to A&E, on Friday 11th in the morning I was at work and had worse pain in my chest and couldn't breathe, and arm was numb, we didn't want to go back to the A&E I went to the walk in centre at Rouen Rd, Norwich, they did an ecg and blood tests and told me something was wrong and wrote a letter with the results of the ecg to take to the A&E at Norfolk and Norwich hospital urgently, I went to A&E again and gave the letter in at reception I was seen straight away and after another ecg and more blood tests was still told nothing was wrong, again my wife argued and asked had they seen the letter from the walk in centre the junior Dr said he had not, when he looked at the letter and my ecg Results from the Walk in Centre his attitude was completely different he thanked us for arguing our case and telling him about the letter and I was rushed straight on the ward and operated on the next day, I had had a heart attack my arteries were blocked and severely damaged the main artery at the front of my heart, I had to have two balloon stents put in my chest my left arm is still numb and giving me lots of pain, my wife had to argue and fight to get me seen, I am obviously very angry about this. I had previous heart problems and told them in A&E on Tuesday the 8th May that in 2013 I had a heart attack and had to go in hospital and have two jump starts to get my heart back in rhythm, I was put on statins Avorvastatin, and blood pressure tablets (Perindopril, Bisoprolol, Amlopodine , for life, and have to be seen every three months no one took any notice, I said to the doctor that I am self employed I don't need a sick note or a claim I just want to feel better, He said sarcastically there's nothing wrong I know it's not what you want to hear but go home and take paracetamol
  4. Hi Guys. Brief History. I am at present out on bail, pending a court case for alleged criminal damage. Present Day I was Assaulted & Harrassed on 22nd June by the owner of the vehicle, who is claiming that I damaged his van. I was then arrested on the 16th July for the altercation, albeit that the charges were NFA (no further action) Now here's my annoyance. You can clearly see from the camera stills that he was the one following me as I was walking away, three times I might add. Here's my questions; When I was originally arrested for the criminal damage, it took the police less than an hour to arrest me. Why did this offence take them 3 weeks ? There was at least 7 people seen going past the camera. Why have they not been interviewed as witnesses ? Regarding the criminal damage, his dash cam was used to gather evidence immediately. I mentioned this to the police when I got arrested the second time, yet no evidence was used from his dash cam this time, yet they would have clearly seen off his dash-cam, that he was the aggressor and the one screaming abuse at me. Why was he not arrested ?
  5. Hi, am new to place, wish you all well. My problem happened weeks ago, the B Gas Revenue Protection Team lock pick in to my shop and took my meter away and said i am suspicious for Tampering their meter. The Meter was outside the shop front behind the counter table, when they come to get the meter reading, i always let them in straight away. What i had in mind was "Since i haven't done anything to the meter, it shouldn't be a problem with it anyway, if they want to check, let them do it." The reason they think i tampered the meter is because the gas usage in my shop is lower than the average usage around my shop. (My shop is new takeaway in the area, only opened less than 1 year so not many business going on, that's why the usage was lower than other shop.) BUT They come back today with the test results which said "The test results shows Diaphragm Has Not Been Tampered." but in their Conclusion it said "In My Opinion, The Meter Has Been Programmed Reverse." (They said there is some wearing in side the pinion this is why they think the meter has been reversed before. though i still have no idea how this works... how can a meter reverse and still working?) (I had been ask them if they know when the reverse happened, the Company who did the check said they don't know when it happened but the guy who brings the report said it happened after i took over the shop, no roughly information of month) and now they took my meter away and asking me to pay 5300 before they can reinstall the meter back if not they will call the police and bring me on court. i have called British Gas to ask what is really happening and why i got accused for it when i have no idea about it. but they always passed me through to the guy who took the meter away. I HAVE NOT done anything to the meter, and I CAN'T Afford to play 5000 now to get my business back on running... and the business is my only income... they stopped it now which means there is no way i can make 5000. I really need some advice of what i should do.... i don't want to take this blame since i actually haven't done anything to the meter. and now my only income, my business has been closed because of this....
  6. Got a Drone / Unmanned Aircraft and thinking of flying it in the UK or Abroad? Here we will explain to you the UK Law on using Drones / Unmanned Aircraft and the Drones Code for safe flying that you need to follow. Drones / Unmanned Aircraft have now become so popular in the UK and the laws relating to the flying of unmanned aircraft have evolved and there is now a UK Drone Code by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) which anyone flying a drone must adhere to. 7. I took my car took to the garage to get the master cylinder replaced on the clutch and when I got phoned to say that may car was ready I was surprised to see the clutch pedal low down like near the floor. And when I went back in to speak to the service manager I got told that Vauxhall only wanted to replace the clutch pipe and elbow..i asked why wasn't the master cylinder not replaced as that's what I got told was wrong with the car..he says Vauxhall wanted to see how that worked first.. so I drove away from the garage as never says anything about if it was safe to drive..so anyways 10 mins when on motorway and when I tried to select a gear when slowing down I couldn't select another gear and having to keep lifting the pedal of the floor with my feet and whilst trying to engage a gear with great difficulty
  8. Hi guys and gals. Sorry to post a new thread but I am extremely confused about the Gladstones Letter of claim. Let me explain. My husband is the registered keeper of the vehicle and I am the main driver. We have just received a Letter before claim from Gladstones, however this is the first I have heard of this PCN. On the day in question i know I was the driver because I found a wallet and handed it in to LLOYDSTSB bank as that's where the cards were from inside it. This is probably the reason i got a ticket as i am aware i was slightly late back but not by much. When I returned to my car I had no notice of charge on it. I have rung Gladstones to tell them to direct the claim to me instead of my husband and they refused to speak to me and asked him to email them. He is doing this shortly so that i can try resolve the issue. I am concerned as to what to do now. I don't want a CCJ on my file. what should I do from here.
  9. Hi what a pain. I arrived from Yorkshire early morning to check on my friends house in London, They are on holiday. He left me 30 day passes to park in permitted Zones outside the house street. When I arrived, I stuck one in my car - an one day all zone pass. 7:30am. About an hour later I saw a tow lorry outside about to lift my car. I went outside and said I have a pass and this is the house I'm staying in. Apparently I didnt read a sign they stuck up a few days ago? who knows. It said Parking prohibited on dates 30th april (today) due to footway reconstruction on both sides of road from house number # to # including my mates door number! They said just move your car 2 houses up and you're fine cos you have an all zone permit..but dont forget to pay the fine too:mad2:. My mates car was fined and lifted to a new spot too..i couldnt move his because it wont start..suffice to say they went on a rampage and fined every other car on the street. Can i appeal and what do i write in the letter? Thank you. Jaws
  10. I have a bit of an awkward situation that I can't see anywhere else. I had amassed some debt and in November 2015. I contacted a debt charity at 4am by email and they locked into action immediately and helped me. By 14 December 2015 an IVA had been agreed between the financial company and creditors and now paying that without having missed any payments. However, in the November, whilst my IVA was being set up, I was advised to move my bank account from Santander as they would likely lock my account upon receiving this email IVA request notice. I moved my account in November 2015 to First Direct. The account they provided me with was a Credit Account with a £500 overdraft and I applied online with no prompt to read any T&C's that I can remember and no paperwork received with the exception of my bank card and it's pin. In the first couple of months I had planned with my financial advisor handling my IVA what debts to include. To help reduce the IVA amount, I used most of the £500 overdraft on the First Direct account to clear one of the debts and then I would work the overdraft down over time. Out of the blue, and with therefore no notice, I received a letter from First Direct in March 2016 stating that they would close my account because I was in an IVA and this breached their current account rules and that they would close it in May 2016, giving me 2 months notice. I rang First Direct immediately upon receiving the letter and was essentially told to pay back the overdraft before the account closed and that was my only choice. In May 2016 I rang First Direct again and explained I was still in IVA as they know so couldn't pay off my overdraft in one go like that and had planned to work it down over time that had now been taken away from me at their choice. I was told that they would send me a form once my account closes to complete to set up a repayment plan that would be affordable to me and take into consideration my IVA. This is where my problems began to escalate. I never received any form from First Direct. I emailed them to ask for it in June and July 2016. received responses stating they couldn't discuss my account unless I rung them, which I was suspicious about as surely they must contact on the method I request? I managed to go out of my way and visit a HSBC some miles away and ring them. They agreed to send me the form that they hadn't sent previously. I then waited some weeks and received no form again. Instead, some weeks later I received a letter with a debt collection agency header on it asking for £512 that I now owed. I replied by email, copying in First Direct, explaining that I was still awaiting the repayment form and then never received a response from First Direct nor the Debt Collection Agency. Some weeks later I again got a letter from the Debt Collection Agency, again replied by email copying in First Direct and attaching my previous email and again never got a reply. A couple of months later I then received a letter with a different Debt Collection Agency header. Again I replied with the same email, attaching previous emails and copying in First Direct, and again I received no reply from anyone. I then sent an email to First Direct a few times over the next few months asking for the form and kept getting the same response as before, that they cannot discuss my account. In mid April 2018 I received a letter from Cabot Financial asking for repayment of the £512 for the HSBC debt and that they had bought the debt in August 2017 but weirdly apologised for taking until now to write to me about it?! A day later I received a letter with HSBC header dated BEFORE the Cabot letter chasing repayment for £512 debt. a couple of days later I received another letter dated AFTER the Cabot letter from HSBC saying they had now sold the debt to Cabot and to now deal with Cabot on it. This all seemed very odd to receive these 3 letter within a few days, seemingly contradicting each other and confusing, one claiming Cabot had purchased the debt in August 2017 and one with HSBC dated before the Cabot letter asking me to repay them (and not Cabot). I have replied by email to Cabot and asked for no email or telephone contact and no visits to my home and that I would only correspond in writing and that I would write to them in time on this. I'm now in a position where I am looking for above on what to next. Any help would be much appreciated!
  11. Hi, This morning I had a very important meeting that I could not miss and went to park in my usual car park. Unfortunately it was full, this has never been the case before, but I sucked it up and used the larger car park across the road where the minimum stay is 4 hours and they charge £2.50, this is why I never use it. This car park is never more than half full, but was full today. Obviously something local was going on as this has never happened in all the years I have been parking. After driving around for 10 minutes and no space appearing I saw a space that was not blocking anyone at all, and it looked like a space. There was a small triangle of yellow lines right in the corner of the space, that made it look like you could maybe not park there, but I checked all around and it was blocking no one at all, there was ample room. I took the chance as I really could not miss this meeting and paid my ticket. When I came back I had a ticket on the car, this small triangle in the corner was half obscured by leaves and was not the easiest to see. I took a pic of the leaves covering it down the side and at the back, I also took a pic of the front of the car as it really did look like a parking space with white lines at the front and to show it was not blocking anything. It was just this small half obscured yellow triangle at the back that made me doubtful, but that made no sense as it blocked nothing. I am not trying to say I am in the right as I thought it maybe a non parking spot, but paid my money and had no choice but to take my chance, missing the meeting would have cost me far more than the ticket. Is there any point trying to challenge this ticket or do I just suck it up and take it, the least they could do is take the £2.50 off is the ticket was invalid. Thanks for any help Paul
  12. A review of past fees and charges, and you are entitled to a refund. The amount is about a few hundred. I believe my relative had a massively unfair relationship with them. Curious if anyone else has got this letter recently and what it means...annd what you've done about it.
  13. Hi all, I have a car on finance, which two days ago caught fire and is a write off, can I terminate my contract with the finance company under 'frustration of contract' as the finance company can now no longer supply the use of the vehicle to me under our contract? Just wondered what people's thoughts are on this. Many thanks for all and any replys Moonlandings

I did have a Barclaycard which was paid off. recently checked my CR file and note that they have put a marker on the file for Barclaycard with an outstanding balance. called them today and they could not find my old card details. said to them that I am in possession of the card and was reading out the card number and they told me that it does not exist, gave me another card no which they claim that belong to me. only had one Barclaycard. told him why do I need two Barclaycards and that does not belong to me. am going to send them a CCA letter. Does anyone has a contact name or address to whom I can send a letter to please? Many thanks
  16. Morning all. A rather heavy brown envelope arrived yesterday. Ive been ignoring the shoosmith letters (as to avoid "letter tennis") but they've gone for the cc. ex-M&S, over £7k. I'll get the details up in my next post.
  17. Hi I’m hoping someone can point me (and my father) in the right direction. This is the back story. I helped my father resolve visa problems around 5 years ago whereby his APR was increased and monthly payment amounts raised – he was paying the interest only per month on his cards with one company requesting nearly 35% APR. He has successfully (with the help of forum users) paid off all but one company. We managed to negotiate “full and final” payments with all but one of them. I believe one company tried to go with a Debt Collection Agency but we wrote to them explaining the debt was not with them but the original Visa company. The last visa company (Mint), was offered £1500 in full and final payment around 5 years ago. They refused. The debt was for around £3300. He has then successfully negotiated a monthly direct debit payment of £5 (this is with the APR remaining at 0 (zero). He is 68 years old and his income is very low. He can only afford to pay £5 per month. He has explained to them over the 5 years what his income and outgoings are. His “spare” money only equates to £5.00 every month. They have accepted this until last month when he received a letter from Wescot. This letter informed him that they are happy to accept the £5.00 payments per month (for now). He has received a letter from Mint explaining all information regarding his account will be direct from Wescot. However, he has then received a Mint Visa bill requesting £1555.00 be paid immediately! This is obviously extremely worrying and I would like to know what is the best action to take. Do I contact Mint for him and explain that the debt is with Mint – no payments have been missed and their agreement of £5 per month has been broken (by them). Do I make contact with Wescot and inform them that I fully understand they have paid my fathers debt. I would greatly appreciate any help on this as he is looking to make contact this week if possible. Thank you Chris
  18. Virtually all automakers (except for Tesla) are asking China to slow down electric car mandate. The auto industry is once again attempting to slow down the rollout of electric vehicles. Virtually all automakers, except for Tesla of course, have sent a letter to the Chinese government in an attempt to have them drastically weaken their zero-emission vehicle mandate. As we previously reported, China, the world’s biggest car market, has somewhat of an aggressive ZEV mandate that would force Automakers to have zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) represent 8% of new car sales as soon as 2018 and quickly ramp up to 12% by 2020. Interesting comments. https://electrek.co/2017/07/13/automakers-but-tesla-china-slow-down-electric-car-mandate/ I have heard that many Taxi Companies are now using Electric Taxis but are there enough charge points available in Great Britain for this rapidly increasing market. Have you got one. What are your views. And who will try to resist this market.
  19. Business Tips-Have You Got Any For Newly Self Employed- Good morning old Tawnyowl here i hope you are enjoying your weekend. My brain does not seem to want to relax, full of ideas, some may think rubbish. The Entrepreneurs Of The Future. Can you offer them any advice from your own experience. Donate a little time to help others. Well i have tried all my life to make it big. Enjoyed the ride, the nearly man.But how do you class success. Are you happy to say i managed to bring my family up,provide for them, create a stable home.Worked hard all of my life. Time goes that fast in business before you know it if you have children they could be teenagers, grown up and gone. Then you wonder what the hell one day as you take stock one day. Entrepreneurs do not take much notice of hours worked it means nothing a target is there and you try to hunt it down in any way possible. Myself well it took me till i was 55 when i shot down London way to try my last shot bar ten to try,you never give up.6 years ago now, seems like yesterday. Tools in a case, train to Euston and only a few pounds. Ended up in Essex and walked the streets for days leafleting till i found work. Waiting in a alley very early the morning, catching commuters travelling to London to work giving out leaflets to them. Down there it is the same as anywhere 7 days a week. Pressure, you love it or hate it.Do not work do not eat. Finally on a break i came home and then it happened, a heart attack. In hospital as the Nurse was about to give me my jab i asked if i could finish my phone call. I was still organising jobs locally for a couple of workers to keep them going. Looking back i see the nurse now with needle and syringe waiting to take aim.A wonderful woman. It was nearly Christmas. Coming out of hospital,i realised when this job was finished i had to face the fact i was getting older. Gym usually 4,5 times a week then work was a normal day.Construction. I have made massive mistakes along the way so i am trying to give a few tips.Have you any. For those starting out full of enthusiasm.Like i say i hope what i am saying some may agree on. For those wondering,i had no money left so had to find how to make money from nothing. Surprising how people vanish from your life when things change. When you need help. But found a way and have just scraped by and about to employ a talented artist who should really be successful in his own right.Naturally talented but lost. There must be many out there. Money from nothing a new start. But the last one for sure, perhaps. So what would i do differently if i had my time again. Well i have only a few because as i say i never took time to take stock just ploughed on. But,lets have a go. 1-Most important is to have a stable home life,a partner who supports you.A strong base. 2-Try to find something that people return to you again and again. Example people buy milk, bread each day. Having a product that a customer only uses you once means you are forever having to find new customers. 3-Trying to do everything yourself. Usually means sooner or later you will burn out. Bring others to the table listen to them although your decision is the final one. What happens if you get ill,you could be finished. 4-Skills. You have a Skill that has been honed over years,a quality product that needs really skilled labour. Trouble could be brewing. You find yourself overwhelmed with work but when you go to find help there is no one skilled enough to employ. Those who are are already in demand. Expect to train someone but do not be surprised when you train them they go self employed themselves. Natural thing to do although the first time it may rile you a touch. But deep down you have helped someone. Some may stay as self employment does not suit everyone. Some like the stability of regular guaranteed income. 5- Try to find a market for when you get busy that unskilled labour would be easy to find. The job could be completed much easily .Nothing worse than turning work away.It stings a touch. And those pounds should be yours. 6-Learn how to be your own accountant it is not hard if you take your time. Keep tax returns etc upto date. There is a lot of advice, help on line nowadays. Even new apps so you can do things as they happen. Keep receipts safely, motor costs, everything you spend keep. Become used to doing this. Of course accountants are experts in saving you money if you earn enough. Register as self employed, get insurance. 7-And make a little time for yourself, your family, time goes fast. Ah well just thought i would start a thread. Any other advice from anyone please post away. There must be many Self Employed out there. Bye for now. Tawnyowl.
  20. Hi, hoping someone has some advice. While visiting family last week, my husband parked up in a disabled bay in a council car park while we took the children to the park. Parking was free for up to three hours. Blue badge and time clock displayed clearly. he drives a WAV, he has to be careful about how to park, very few car parks have spaces that are ok for WAVs. This particular car park layout meant for safely and to not cause an obstruction, he was within two BB spaces, ie making a 'through' space. We've parked there before with our previous WAV. He got out the van from the back, two of our children were with him and they noticed a traffic warden nearby, he checked the sign, and went off to meet me in the park. He came back to the WAV alone just over two hours later, got in the back, got into driving position and realised he'd been given a ticket! He called over another traffic warden, who said the first one had told him she'd ticketed him for occupying two spaces and she'd called her supervisor to ask if she could do it. My husband asked to speak to the supervisor himself. 2nd traffic warden refused. My husband asked him if he were not a power wheelchair user, and could park up without alighting from the rear, if he would have got a ticket. The 2nd warden said no. 2nd warden also said if he'd purchased a ticket from the machine as well, he wouldn't have got a ticket. The sign says disabled parking free for up to three hours, nothing about parking a WAV and alighting safely, or having to buy a ticket for having a WAV. He told him he couldn't cancel it, so to appeal, gave him a number to ring for the supervisor as well. My husband asked how he was supposed to get the ticket off the windscreen, he couldn't reach from his chair. Bearing in mind he was alone, the vehicle is obviously a WAV with no drivers seat, and the blue badge is directly in front of the drivers seat anyone checking that could see it clearly, the 1st warden would have looked directly into the space to place the ticket. The 2nd traffic warden had to hand him the ticket. The time on the ticket is 15 minutes after he got there, and is for parking over a line. He told my husband he should have parked in one space and caused an obstruction. There wasn't actually room for him to deploy the ramp to alight from the rear of the vehicle if he'd done that. By this time, my husband was really stressed and upset, getting chest pains, and called me, the traffic warden left before I'd got there. We waited about 15 minutes till he'd calmed down and felt better but the warden didn't come back. My husband didn't get a choice with motability about the size of the WAV, it's because of the equipment, ramp etc, in the back and adaptations. He's had it for almost two years, we park in car parks every day. On the advice of our local police, we also carry cones to place behind because we've had a couple of incidences of people blocking the rear doors so he can't get in. My husband parks in the safest way possible so not to get run over when getting out, to avoid causing an obstruction etc. He's never had a parking ticket before, especially not for being a wheelchair user with a WAV, can't believe he said that! The children confirmed they'd seen the first traffic warden as they'd parked up with their dad. She could have come across then and spoken to him, the car park wasn't busy, but instead she decided to ticket him. I bet she told her supervisor it was just a van with a BB, not a WAV with no drivers seat. I messaged the local council that evening, and they're supposed to be looking into it. He has 14 days to appeal, it's now day 7. The council say it's an unusual situation and apologised but they haven't yet cancelled the ticket, apparently the team who'd look into it were away last week, no excuse yet for this week. I checked their 'other rules' for car parks online later on, and it mentions nothing about parking WAV's safely, without causing obstruction. If he'd parked like they wanted him to park, he wouldn't have been able to get out at all. We took photos of how he was parked, of the sign and how the 2nd warden thought he should have parked. Their sign said people 'may' get a ticket, suggesting they should use some common sense :-/ Not sure how ticketing a BB holder parked in a BB space is common sense at all, or to anyone's benefit really. Seems like a massive waste of time for them and us. I'm emailing the council again today, to find out if they want him to go through appealing or what. It's 200 miles away, so we can't just go in, or we would! Very much feels like he's been ticketed for needing a power wheelchair and adapted vehicle though. He's never got a ticket where we live, or anywhere else actually, and he parks up for work every day in a BB space. Any advice on how to handle this?
  21. Hi all again, I've had a lot of problems with Littilewoods and Shop Direct Finance Ltd of the past few years. I currently owe them £292.95 and have been paying them token payments since May with a DMC. In the time i was in the DMC I had a lot of charges from Littlewoods. I've sent the DMC a SAR because they messed up some other debts of mine too and I want to see what they did. I'll list all the one's I can find with the statements I own and what my credit report says. ??/10/2014 Arrangement to pay (what it says on Credit Report) ??/09/2014 Arrangement to pay (what it says on Credit Report) ??/08/2014 5 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/07/2014 5 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/06/2014 4 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/05/2014 3 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) 19/04/2014 Late Minimum Payment Fee £12.00 (On the same day I made a payment) 01/04/2014 Debt Collection Telephone Call fee £12.00 ??/04/2014 3 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/03/2014 Arrangement to pay (what it says on Credit Report) ??/12/2013 Not Updated (what it says on Credit Report) ??/11/2013 Settled (what is says on Credit Report) ??/10/2013 Arrangement to pay (what it says on Credit Report) ??/09/2013 2 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/08/2013 2 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/07/2013 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/06/2013 Query (what it says on Credit Report) ??/04/2013 Query (what it says on Credit Report) ??/02/2013 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/01/2013 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/10/2012 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/08/2012 2 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/07/2012 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/05/2012 Not Updated (what it says on Credit Report) ??/04/2012 settled (what it says on Credit Report) ??/09/2011 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/08/2011 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/07/2011 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/06/2011 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) ??/05/2011 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) 17/11/2010 Debt Collection Telephone Call Fee £12.00 ??/11/2010 1 Late payment (what it says on Credit Report) There are a lot more and the debt was past to NDR money I think around June 2014 because I have a summary from them showing I made token payments In June & July. But i don't think they added any charges, I was thinking of sending a SAR to Littlewoods to get all the information. I was wondering if I can claim the money back and can I get the charges removed from my credit report, because they cant be legal. Also how much of this £292.95 should I pay if a lot of it has been charges. Now my old DMC said when i closed the account down that I owed the Littlewoods debt to Shop Direct Finance Ltd. Also my credit report says I owe Shop Direct Finance Ltd and the data goes back as early as November 2010. Any advice on how to proceed would be much obliged. Andrew

  23. Hi I got caught taking some items from primark (I know, sad)! They took me in to a room and took down my details from my Spanish ID and I gave them my real address to send the fine they told me the RLP will send in a couple of weeks or so. I'm over 18 so they didn't ask for my parents details. They made a copy of my Spanish ID and didn't call the police. The total amount was £35. I swear I learned the lesson but I'm really worried if I'm going to have any criminal record in the UK or it's going to be a problem if at some point I want to apply for a mortgage? Also the security guy told me the fine will be £130 but I read on this website that it's £180. Also read that I don't have to pay, just ignore it. The security guy told me if I don't pay it this would be taken to the court and I would have a real problem. Is that real? They have my real address so it's easy the RLP can ask for it and send the police to my address or something? I'm really worried and i'm overthinking the worst! I would really appreciate if you can give me some advise. Many thanks in advance.
  24. I made a very stupid and quick idea to take a few things from Tk Maxx with my friend last saturday, walking out a security guard and he walked us back in and told us to follow his collegue. We were then told because we were 16 and 17 that the police wouldn't be called but we would get a 'fine'. Our details were taken for this and we signed a banning letter, and were told to expect a letter for the fine. The letter has come through today and I know it's utter karma and I won't do it again, I've seen other threads saying to ignore it and not pay, but retail loss prevention is written on the envelope, and my parents will be bound to see it at one point which I'm dying at the thought of. Does anyone know what happens if I ignore the letters, such as going to court or police or ANYONE visiting my house? How long do the letters take to go and what can i expect
  25. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?464034-Court-summons-from-GREENBELT-GROUP-ADVICE-**Discharged-for-£400-from-£2k** Same kind of situation. not paid 9 years greenbelt didnt do the work bad areas in street with very poor maintenance. BUT, other half filled in court summons to make payments, she didn't contest. , this was around 4 weeks ago so they have won decree at £2500, granted 4 days ago got a letter saying as the won decree if we dont pay they will send sherrif officers. how can we contest decree after they win decree, as 50% of the debt is statute barred? was take to court by GREENBELT GROUP ADVICE they got decree. not paid them for around 9 years no contact, in the last 5 years when they made contact they point blank refused all payment terms and demanded full amount . level of service was so poor missing fence sand hedging. patches of land that are meant to be grass simply large areas of mud, In November other half gets citations in her name she doesn't tell me she fills it in with offer of payment, total was around £2300, we are in a difficult financial situation at the moment. As she made offer of payment they win decree for £2300. the issue i have is half of that debt is statute barred. im in talks with greenbelt now, if they dont help, my plan is to take the story to the press and bbc watchdog monthly. They knowingly took statute barred debt to court. SO far, I have contacted : Laura Sangster Para Legal for Greenbelt Laura Sangster Paralegal Greenbelt Group Ltd DL: 0141 948 1249 She was really smug, comments along the line we have WON decree etc. so you will need to pay full amount even though I explained its statute barred. Alex Middleton CEO man of few words sent several emails, either he will ignore or say "thanks" with no other words. anyone know how i can amend judgement cant afford a lawyer sadly, but at worst will plead with BBC watchdog to help.
