We are going here - Cottages in Lindale Cumbria, for Cottages South Lakes try Lonsdale Cottages

The hubby wants to do all sorts of things like quad biking, 4x4 off roading etc, but just stick me on a seat in front of one of the lakes with a book and Ill be happy.

Our son is going to my in-laws for the 2 weeks so I wont have to worry about him either, our daughter is home from uni for the summer so dont need to board out the animals

Getting discharged from the hospital :) after 2 years of dieticians they have agreed that my stomach's occasional lapse in working is not down to food intolerance (it had to be ruled out as a contributor) and just that my body doesn't work so well sometimes due to IBS. They have agreed that stress seems to be a major factor in flare ups so may go for hypnotherapy relaxation techniques specificly designed for the tummy later on if I have another bad flare up. At least I don't have to face another annoying diet.:)

Painfull too, especially when I get an infection :( quite often they are so bad the inflammation causes the lining of my stomach to bleed, and the swelling/inflammation apart from being extremely painfull makes me look like i'm about to give birth!! Thankfully (touch wood, that's wood, not woody :p) I haven't had an infection in a while. :)

Taking a trip up the River Medway on the boat, then sitting on the riverbank watching the poo being sucked out of the tanks whilst eating cheese rolls. :D

I have been asked to post this link on a few threads. It is really easy.

If you watch a very short RSPCA video, you automatically donate £1.00 for abandoned dogs. It costs you nothing.:)

I've just posted the link on my fb page so hopefully it will get a few more hits

After weeks and months of looking for a companion for our poochie, and meeting lots of them, we found one today that our own pooch actually got on with!!

They ran about and played together without snarls ot baring of teeth :D

So now we have a new additon to our family, her name is Lola and she is supposed to be a GS x St Bernard, but seeing her properly it looks like she is pure German Shepard. She is about 6 months old, a wee bit on the thin side, but we will soon sort that out with lots of TLC.
