A horrendous object and last night it was lit up.

 

Forced on Lancashire by the Government.

And throughout the UK the might of the Government and the Energy Companies is being felt as they try to spread the virus throughout Great Britain.Such a small Island.

The ‘shale revolution’ ends with a bang

As British frackers struggle to drill a handful of test wells, the US ‘shale revolution’ on which their efforts are predicated looks to be coming to an end.

 

The reasons for its demise will send shivers through UK investors as they realise that it has nothing to do with the quantities of oil and gas beneath the ground.

Even if British frackers find gas beneath Derbyshire, Lancashire, Sussex or Yorkshire, their industry will be dead before any meaningful amount can be brought to the surface.

 

The problem for Britain’s would-be frackers is that the US fracking industry has all of the advantages: a developed onshore oil and gas industry; favourable geology and social geography; looser planning and environmental regulation; considerable political support; and, crucially,Wall Street’s trillions of dollars.

If, with all of this in its favour, the best the US industry can manage is to fall ever further into debt, then the UK industry – which has government support but not much else – is unlikely to get beyond the handful of test wells that it is currently drilling… and these are too few in number to determine the viability of the industry in future.

It is most likely that when the US industry crashes, UK fracking will be over for good.

Hearing that pond levels are dropping near the Fracking site.

Surely their can only be a few reasons if the drop is pretty Dramatic.

 

1 Evaporation but so much rain has fallen lately.

2 I remember many years ago a pond water level dropping in the area.

Turned out a industrial development had blocked the natural spring feeding the pond.Made a bypass.

3 Something is draining the land that naturally feeds the ponds.

Many water tankers are regularly going on site.

If the water drop is dramatic something must be happening.

Well my computer problems are now behind me.The Blue screen of death arrived and killed my hard drive.

A new computer has arrived and off we go.

So now i start again,a little behind the latest news.Trying now to catch up.

Although i have been watching many videos and posts and reading articles it will take a little time to put things in the correct order.

 

So where are we.Things i am hearing,rumours if you like.

Cuadrilla have started drilling and rumours abound of bent drills and strange unearthly sounds emitting from the Site at times.

The Site could be slowly moving due to boggy conditions or some other reason.

Could this become a new tourist attraction,The Leaning Tower Of Lancashire.

 

Water rumours abound.

Utility workers occasionally seen on site as are many water tankers.

Here and there on the Road To Hell Bubbling and water seeping through the road.

Some say there are possibly water pressure drops and issues connected.

Has this development moved things underground,the sheer weight perhaps.

Affecting water mains etc.

Ponds dropping in water in the area.Is some sort of drainage blocking the natural filling of these from surrounding land.

All unanswered,as i say these are things you hear but will become clear as time goes by.

 

One thing on my mind that i heard somewhere.I will have to check this.

Drilling begins at Cuadrilla’s Lancashire shale gas site Aug 17th

The shale gas firm, Cuadrilla has confirmed that drilling began today at its site at near Blackpool.

 

The Preston New Road site at Little Plumpton will see the first horizontal shale gas exploration wells in the UK.

 

A spokesperson for the company said drilling began early this afternoon but was unable to give a precise time.

That is because i am sick at what i am seeing.I am watching but stunned.

 

Climate Change and those in power.Or anything monetary or environmentally.And those in power.

Donald Trump or Theresa May or anyone else.

How many times have we seen those in power side big time with the corporations.

How many things have arrived from America and other places to prey on communities in Great Britain.

How much and how many donations oil their way.Sometimes going back years.Money for Influence.

 

Climate change phew who cares when money is involved.What does a little thing like that matter.

Lets brush that aside and crack on there is money to be earned.Cross out any regulations

Countries are desperate for cash and do not care about the environment peoples health it is experiment time.

 

They clearly do not care one jot.It is all about the money.And always has been.

When you look around where they are planning to drill,Frack around the world it destroys you.Because you cannot seem to win.

And find it hard to believe.

No one listens as people get smashed to the ground.Possibly putting others off from protesting.

The Government have let a company who have fouled up every time start to Frack Lancashire.

Even one of their team nearly choking a protester to death but still there.

 

You see protesters are peaceful they know that,although some are able able to fight everything is peaceful.

They will stand there and protest until they are thrown aside or worse.

Which for some on the other side seems to give them a feeling of power and as time goes on do what they want knowing there is no fight back.

 

You see things happening and worries such as water issues and Breeches of planning but it is carry on boys.Do what you like.

Are things happening getting covered up hidden from the public.With the amount of money invested it is possible.

The policing is costing a fortune and protests will spread shortly across Great Britain.

 

I will start showing videos and articles again soon my spirits are very low at the moment it happens from time to time.

Water issues around the Fracking Site worrying many people.

One pond fenced off others sinking water levels and water discoloration.

EA have been there but some are saying they missed a lot of things.

They have i believe been asked to look again take samples of water etc.Expensive for protectors to do this at over 300 a pop.And difficult to get samples.The oompa loompas,the security would be amongst them in a flash.

Needs a independent to check things out urgently.Or a insider,a spy in the camp.

Other talk of a sinking pad and movement of land in the field affecting mains in the area.

All will be revealed soon i am sure if correct.You cannot hide things like this for long surely.

I am sure the water issues are soon to be highlighted.People are trying to get to the truth trying really hard.

Cows walking in the fields next to the Fracking site are raising concerns for many as well as you would imagine.

 

Worries about all the chemicals etc where they will end up when Fracking begins after drilling.

Even Cuadrilla do not know where the approx 60% of water and other contamination end up that are left down there.

A Fracking nightmare for many people who have researched a little.Worries for now and future generations if this madness continues.

Rumours abound about the drilling perhaps not going to plan.

A kind of when the drill is up it is up and when the drill is down it is neither up or down but rattling around,enough of that i am going to far.

Is something not quite right,something of the night about it all,well it seems so to many.Let the truth come out.

I am wondering why hundreds are not down there including myself each day for a few hours.

I keep coming down to so much pressure in this town to survive,many working all the hours god sends just to pay the rent,food,bills etc.

Many on minimum wage.No days off.But so many live close by.

Working every day and at 10 pound for myself to get down there and back,shuttle service required.Or something like that if possible.

Not looking for a excuse i want to be there for a few hours each day but also do not want to starve to achieve this.

Only 8 miles away i must make a little more effort somehow.

After 8 months and being down a little lately i wondered why.

 

I now believe it is because i am moving into a different phase in the fight against the frackers.

Where this will lead i do not know but i know where it will start from.

I am going to mix a little more down at Maple Farm near the Fracking Site,headquarters if you like talk to people of like minded thoughts.

Not feel so isolated like a flaming hermit.

Ah i missed a full day of actions yesterday at the Cuadrilla Fracking Site just catching up. Got rather involved with making some Driftwood Wands for future actions perhaps against the Frackers.Put a spell on them:sad:

Mice and other things.A day when nothing went to plan,nothing achieved despite working 10 hours or more.

So what happened yesterday and what is happening today.

 

Well it was Green Monday yesterday a day later because of the Bank holiday.

And all sorts of things happened.

Four women from Lancaster, including a City Councillor, have today taken action by locking-on outside Cuadrilla’s fracking site on Preston New Road, Little Plumpton.

 

The three women are all members of the Green Party and are taking action to protest against increasing extraction of fossil fuels. They arrived at the site with a boat named 'Fracky McFrackFace, painted with the slogans: ‘Harness the wind, waves and sun’ and ‘Bail out from fracking’.

Day one of the court case,day two today.

Refusal of consent for Cuadrilla’s Lancashire fracking site is the only rational decision, court told

An anti-fracking campaigner urged the Court of Appeal yeterday to quash planning permission for Cuadrilla’s shale gas site in Lancashire.

 

Gayzer Frackman, from Lytham, was pursuing his case against the Communities’ Secretary, Sajid Javid, who granted consent in October 2016 for drilling, fracking and testing four wells at Preston New Road near Blackpool.

The judge had “wrongly transmuted” that guess into an assumption that displacement would occur, Mr Willers said. This was contrary to the EU Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Directive, which said analysis should be conducted to determine whether an impact was likely to occur.

 

“If the learned judge were right, then all applications for shale gas fracking which involved extended flow testing would avoid consideration of greenhouse gas effects”.

 

Mr Willers added:

 

“It also gives decision-makers a clear indication that they may reasonably assume that greenhouse gas impacts of exploration or production will be nil, without any evidence to support such an assumption.

 

“It would render the environmental assessment of the greenhouse gas impacts of the production phase a pointless exercise”

Government goes to court to defend consent for Cuadrilla’s Lancashire fracking site-Day 2.

Unfairness

The court also heard claims that Preston New Road Action Group had been treated unfairly at the inquiry because Cuadrilla had changed its argument over another local planning policy.

 

The company had accepted in the statement of common ground that policy EP11 of the Fylde Local Plan, which deals with development in the countryside, was applicable to the Preston New Road application. But in its summing up, after PNRAG had made it closing statement, the company argued the opposite. PNRAG said it had not been informed about the change and had no opportunity to address the inquiry.

 

Mr Elvin, for the Secretary of State, the change had been “sufficiently raised at the inquiry” and if there had been prejudice then the county council dealt with all the issues in its closing statement to the inquiry.

 

Ms Lieven, for Cuadrilla, said PNRAG had not been treated unfairly. But even if it had this would not have made any difference to the outcome, she said, because policy EP11 could not apply to shale gas sites. No further submissions from PNRAG could have affected this conclusion, she said.

 

Dr Wolfe, for PNRAG, said the inspector had recognised that Cuadrilla’s proposal was in conflict with policy EP11. The only reason she said the proposal was not in conflict with the development plan was because EP11 was not applicable.

 

“That’s why the applicability question – not weight or meaning of the policy – is so crucial”.

 

Reserved judgement

The three judges, Lord Justice Simon, Lord Justice Lindblom and Lord Justice Henderson, said judgement would be reserved until a later date. They gave no indication of when this would be but Lord Justice Simon recognised the “real concern about this case”.

Looking also at the moment at some tankers that left the site the other day with sealed containers.

Some are saying they were carrying waste that was leaking onto the road.And some have become ill since it is being said since on The Road To Hell.

Worth looking at there is video somewhere of the trucks leaving site i will find it.

Just trying to find out what happened at the Fracking site today.

Hearing that Tina Rothery got arrested today.Also that Gayzer Frackman got the same treatment after only arriving back from London a few hours before.After taking the Government to court.Rough justice or what.

This news will not go down well with many people.

What for,as far as i can tell the police decided not to allow protectors near The Gates To Hell.

Or stand on the small island or cross the road.

Kind of keep the protectors in a pen like hens in a coop.

Naturally this new rule was challenged if i am correct in what i am saying and no doubt will be challenged again.

By possibly many more people.

This afternoon Green Party life-member and activist Tina Rothery was arrested at the fracking site at Preston New Road. She has been released but will appear in court on 10 October 2017. This is our response, issued by Deputy Leader Amelia Womack...

She is an inspiration and has proved time and again that to live in a free society we must be constantly challenging the decisions of those in power. She has put herself on the line to stop dirty and destructive fracking and with supporters and her political party behind her that effort will not be in vain."

 

Now Gayzer Frackman was so happy a short time ago in London after bumping into young Owen Jones.

Met him once myself in Manchester 2013,a fine speaker when roused.

And does not seem to age much.

Anyway this is the chat they had and was nice to see Gayzer looking healthy and smiling from ear to ear while chatting to Owen Jones. Before The Road To Hell intervened much later.

Candlelit vigil in Kirby Misperton as village prepares for deliveries to Third Energy fracking site.

More than 200 people opposed to fracking for shale gas in the North Yorkshire village of Kirby Misperton gathered for a candlelit vigil at the site entrance last night.

 

The village is preparing for the arrival of equipment and the noise barrier at KM8 site. The operator, Third Energy, said deliveries would begin from next week.

 

Bishop Graham Cray, who lives in Kirby Misperton, said:

 

“Along with fellow residents form the village, we were delighted to take part in last night’s vigil outside KM8. It gives strength to our resolve to resist the threat which fracking poses, not just to this community, but to Ryedale as a whole.”

INEOS injunction on fracking protests renewed for two months despite challenge from campaigners

An injunction brought by INEOS against anti-fracking protesters will be contested at a three-day hearing at the High Court later this year.

 

A judge renewed the temporary injunction today, making minor changes to the wording.

 

It has been challenged by two opponents of fracking, the environmental activist and fashion entrepreneur, Joe Corre, and a long-term protester, Joe Boyd.
