LONDON, UK — This morning 4 women from anti-fracking network Reclaim the Power dressed as wedding brides blockaded the doorway of city-based fracking PR firm St Brides Partners to protest their support for the fracking industry [1].

 

The group staged a ‘marriage’ between St Brides and the fracking companies they represent and locked themselves to the door of the company office. St Brides’ CEO and partners were prevented from entering the offices, stopping them from promoting and selling shares in 3 unconventional oil gas projects around the UK.

Well today is the Swap work for work event at Cuadrillas Fracking Site PNR Blackpool.

These events are becoming a regular thing.

It will be interesting to see what people power can do as the day goes on.

 

Most days you see people easily being thrown about by Cuadrillas Private army.

Let's see what happens today when hundreds of people turn up.

 

I will put links on throughout the day to show you what people power can do.

Is this what it takes to show the Government and the Cuadrillas of this world the communities of the UK said no to Fracking.

Proved to cause problems to the Environment, Earthquakes, pollution.

I do not care what magnitude Earthquake, Tremor, we do not need it, want it or deserve it.

 

I cannot say what rumours I hear but when you hear things but cannot prove it sometimes best not to say anything.

But are worrying.

And the protests will spread across Great Britain costing

millions in police time and disturb and put your town village, hamlet your communities like never before.

And put you in danger.

I'm afraid the police have done themselves no favours. They are there purely to prevent a breach of the peace, nothing more. It is everybody's right to peaceful protest and the slowing down of traffic is as peaceful as it could get. They are not blocking the road, just slow walking. The police decided to take a heavy handed approach to this instead of letting the slow walk continue. Sensible members of the travelling public would understand although you will obviously get the odd irritated driver. Tough.

 

Why the police office assaulted Frank, I have no idea. As far as I am aware, there is no law to stop you swearing at a copper. They are supposedly thick skinned and used to it. Again, tough!

 

I am hoping that a full complaint is submitted and properly investigated. He could also sue the office for assault in the county courts. The police do not like their actions laid open to scrutiny.

Well the Fracking Site seems locked down, closed for vehicles entering or leaving.

What work is going on in the background I cannot tell.

Probably will get lively later on as the site prepares to close for the day but things can erupt at a moments notice.

Well while all this has been happening I missed Reclaim The Powers actions today in London outside Barclays Bank.Day 10 of Break The Chain trying to persuade companies to have nothing to do with Fracking.

London, UK — This morning the ‘Renew-Rebels’ group of activist clowns from climate action network Reclaim the Power [1] staged a wrestling match outside Barclays in Piccadilly Circus, in protest at its 97% stake in fracking company Third Energy [2].

This creative protest formed part of two weeks of action against the fracking supply chain, which last week saw protesters in Lancashire blockading a quarry on swings [3].

 

Barclays customers and staff stopped to watch the ‘Fossil Fuel Smackdown,’ held directly outside the glass windows of the Piccadilly branch, in which clowns representing Wind, Tidal and Solar ultimately triumphed over Coal, Oil and Fracked Gas in a series of wrestling bouts.

An awful lot of police there.Hard to take in.Seems to have calmed down a touch for now.Frank I believe took himself out of the situation.

Well the day finishes here with the

largest police escort

for a lorry I have ever seen.

Near the water camp maybe half a mile from the Fracking Site.Unbelievable when all they wanted was peaceful slow walks.

But even that time is passing and maybe Direct Action will build.

The people and communities say no, the Government and their forces say yes.

Possibly someone will get killed either by a truck driver losing it which nearly happened a couple of months ago.

People getting pushed and shoved, all ages, all it needs is someone hitting their head. It can easily happen.

I must admit the policing of the Fracking Site is worrying me.

You wonder why your peaceful right to protest by slow walking vehicles is clearly taken away from you.

It has been proved that this can be done by lorries pulling over to the left-hand side and traffic can pass easily with no obstructing.

There is a video showing this can be done.

But the powers that be will not let this happen.

 

Today in Derbyshire early this morning slow walking was taking place.At Lomas Distribution.Video.Yet they were arrested.

I believe though not 100% sure that the first guy arrested is the Lorry Driver who recently refused to deliver Fracking Pipes in Yorkshire.

One you learn or do a little research into Fracking there is no turning back .

Fracking activist charged after dramatic 11-hour police stand-off

Demonstrators from Bristol were among a group who suspended themselves from entrances to a quarry used by Aggregate Industries’, over the company’s ties to a fracking site outside Blackpool.

A lady looking back on yesterday's Swap Work For Work Day at Cuadrilla Fracking Site.

Sat in quiet reflection on today's events at PNR; I'm shocked, outraged and a little upset.

I've seen the Police brutally drag a grey haired old woman across a road as I tended a man with a suspected broken foot injured by a security man.

Seen the bashed and stunned face of a beautiful young man beaten by arresting police officers around the head until he lost consciousness and then was denied an ambulance as he was thrown in a police van.

A man newly arrived on site was brutally arrested and whilst in the back of a police van and handcuffed was punched by a copper and beaten in full view of many witnesses including myself. The side of the police van said "Police and communities together" The Irony!

Like many others I shook with anger and upset, even cried too with my arms around other women who too had witnessed this brutality.

There were good things about today too.. tribe, love, power, courage, caring and a whole load of amazing people who will not be put off by this knowing that the work we do together will have an impact down the centuries and we are creating history. I hope one day the police will feel regret at what they are doing and know that they really are on the wrong side.

Just been looking through this page checking the links to facebook.

I see the links do not sometimes show the video to what I was saying at the time.Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't

Thinking about it the best thing to do perhaps is check the time I wrote it on the left-hand side and check what the persons video was at that time by looking through their streams.

I will improve, it is this live streaming business.Usually i am linking newspaper reports,things like that.

PR Marriott Lockdown! 3 lock-ons, 1 tripod and a drill rig banner drop

The anti-fracking group, Reclaim the Power, reported that 12 people had blockaded the entrance to PR Marriott, the drilling supply company.

 

Activists erected a scaffold tripod and locked themselves to the gate at 6.30am, preventing vehicles leaving or entering the site.

 

The group said it targeted PR Marriot because of its links with the fracking company, Cuadrilla.
