Using energy bill calculator
Daniel182 replied to Daniel182's topic in Utilities - Gas, Electricity, Water
Thanks for the rep[ly. I already did this before posting and always do a search before going to a website and asking. I use the top website in the search link that's been given. The company i'm with, who are probably the worst company that there's ever been allowed to sell energy to consumers always quote the cost higher then the calculation i'm given when using a calculator. I just wanted to compare and make sure. Thanks -
Hello Can anyone advise me in regards to the most accurate online energy bill calculator to work out electricity cost and estimate KWh usage of current meter readings? Thanks

Hello, When moving into a property that already has Gas and Electric Prepayment Energy Meters / key "topped up installed. Can anyone advise how you would go about getting these removed so normal meters can be installed? Will the Energy company that you choose to go with on a price comparison fit new meters? And would this be free? Thanks

Hello Can anyone please tell me if an employee that has worked for a company 7 hours a week for 1 year, is entitled to holiday pay? If the amount of work hours above does not meet the amount that is required for entitlement. Can anyone please tell me how many working hours a week someone has to work to qualify for holiday pay? Thanks

Hello I'm writing this request for information on behalf of a dear close friend of mine who is disabled. I would be grateful if anyone could give me any information on the following. I would like to ask. Is it possible, and within your rights to change your Social Worker if you feel that they do not represent your best interests? Taking into account my friend is bedridden. My friend has only had contact with the Social Worker once in the last 8 months. My friend has been in touch with the local social services and explained the reasons, but they seem reluctant to help in anyway. Can someone please advise to what can been done, if the local social services won't help? Thank you

Hello Thanks for your reply.Honeybee13 Yes, unemployed claiming income suport only at the moment. Was claiming child tax credit up until 12 weeks ago. This morning my friend received a letter from HMRC stating she owes them £1962.00 for child tax credit where she's been overpaid. I would like to ask on her behalf. Her child received the aapprenticeship through her college. Is this not classed as full time education. Her daughter still gets an assessor every week come and check her coursework she has to do. Thanks

Hello My neighbours daughter has since had her tax credit stopped due to the Tax Credit office not receiving certain information. A letter with the information was sent to TC but they state it was never received. The person in question or should i say the daughter in question rang the 03000530914 number, it just kept ringing and ringing. So after a bit of looking found another number and spoke to a tax credit employee who would not help at all, and was told to keep ringing the 03000530914 number. So she did, and tried out of hours also just out of curiosity. Last tried at 11pm last night and still engaged. Is this a true working number? Anyone ever got through on this number recently. Thanks

Hello To cut a long story short, i had taken out dual fuel tariff with Scottish Power. When my 1 year contract came to an end they took it on themselves to issue me a new tarif without contacting me, anyway there were no accurate meter reading done by Scottish Power.so i made a complaint regarding the estimated meter readings Scottish Power decided to close the account. Scottish Power finally sent a meter reader to come and take a reading late February 2015, few weeks later i received a electricity bill shy of £800. I have been in touch and Scottish Power keep saying the bill is correct. I truly don't think my energy bill is correct, what are my options? Thanks
