The company i'm with, who are probably the worst company that there's ever been allowed to sell energy to consumers always quote the cost higher then the calculation i'm given when using a calculator. I just wanted to compare and make sure. Thanks

  20. Hello Thanks for your reply.Honeybee13 Yes, unemployed claiming income suport only at the moment. Was claiming child tax credit up until 12 weeks ago. This morning my friend received a letter from HMRC stating she owes them £1962.00 for child tax credit where she's been overpaid. I would like to ask on her behalf. Her child received the aapprenticeship through her college. Is this not classed as full time education. Her daughter still gets an assessor every week come and check her coursework she has to do. Thanks

  22. Hello My neighbours daughter has since had her tax credit stopped due to the Tax Credit office not receiving certain information. A letter with the information was sent to TC but they state it was never received. The person in question or should i say the daughter in question rang the 03000530914 number, it just kept ringing and ringing. So after a bit of looking found another number and spoke to a tax credit employee who would not help at all, and was told to keep ringing the 03000530914 number. So she did, and tried out of hours also just out of curiosity. Last tried at 11pm last night and still engaged. Is this a true working number? Anyone ever got through on this number recently. Thanks
  23. Thanks for your reply BankFodder Yes Because of inaccurate/estimated meter readings? My dispute is entirely to do with this electricity bill shy of £800 for two months worth of electricity. Is there anyone i can contact Thanks
  24. Hello To cut a long story short, i had taken out dual fuel tariff with Scottish Power. When my 1 year contract came to an end they took it on themselves to issue me a new tarif without contacting me, anyway there were no accurate meter reading done by Scottish Power.so i made a complaint regarding the estimated meter readings Scottish Power decided to close the account. Scottish Power finally sent a meter reader to come and take a reading late February 2015, few weeks later i received a electricity bill shy of £800. I have been in touch and Scottish Power keep saying the bill is correct. I truly don't think my energy bill is correct, what are my options? Thanks
