I have received a parking charge letter from Euro car parks about my Van parked 20 minutes over time. Looking for £100 or £60 if paid in time. Do you still have the letter profile to send to them ?.

Why did you come up with Mull, Ive never been there, However if Euro Car parks own a Car park on the Isle of Mull then they will know where it is.

I have today received a follow up from Euro CarParks.

Outstanding balance is now £100.00, the discount no longer applies. If not paid within 28 days may result in debt recovery and or  court proceedings and additional costs.

 Do I now send them a letter ?.

nothing they can do

there a no recorded court cases for single speculative invoice  in scotland.

cause there is no tort of trespass

nor does POFA2012 apply.

If you read up on POFA 2012, you'll understand why you don't need to do anything. Basically, the fleecers can ONLY pursue the driver. They obviously don't know who the driver was...

So they can send as many letters as they want they cannot start a court claim for a debt in Scotland for the Keeper.

Thanks dx. Nicky Boy and brassnecked. I will ignore them. I suppose they will make money out of drivers that do not know that the charge can not be enforced and pay the discounted £60.oo.

Hi, I have now received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus regarding the parking charge talking that they will need to inform their legal team etc. I am in Scotland.

Are they twigging that they might as well move on or will the "Legal team" still try to intimate they can do something with a court?
