Thanks for your PM.  However, I'm replying to your thread so all the regulars know what is going on and can chip in and help.

I understand you have a letter from the court with a mediation appointment.

Well it's good news that the DQ was accepted and the e-mail address hiccup wasn't fatal.

Nor would mediation be a big deal - but did you not follow the advice in dx's guide?

yes to mediation (unless you filed our Statute Barred Defence OR this is a claim for a Private Parking Ticket)

There's nothing to mediate over.

They want money...

You don't actually owe them a penny... do you?

And you wouldn't agree to pay them anything... would you?

We could do with some help from you.

Thanks @FTMDave.

the guidance says “ no” for private parking tickets.

Are we saying “ no” to mediation because PE would definitely want me to pay up in full/ part ? Or is there any other reason that I am missing out please?

again shows you've not been reading up ....

Again shows that the template can be confusing to some posters, perhaps my suggestion of TWO templates for dx to use according to the forum chosen by the OP, would not go amiss?

I need to sit down and read @dx100uk.

Will surely do a thorough research 🧐 before I go to courts.

I know those details are essential to be able to present myself well.

I have read time and again.

Sometimes English not being the first language, makes it harder to understand.

Sometimes digging up the forum for the bits that are relevant is not easy.

Can you please upload the letter from the court re mediation?

It may help you - and others in the future in the same situation - to learn how to get out of mediation.
