If the Faccenda Group, trading as:

Mercantile Data Bureau (MDB);

Direct Legal & Collections (DLC) and;

Hillesden Securities, carry on the way in which they are going, these companies may well be fined by The OFT, for employing unfair/misleading practices!

The OFT needs to Clip their Wings...

DLC are chasing me for my EGG account ....................................

I actually have 6 chickens so I have never had the need for an EGG account.

If you have 6 chickens, then you must have had 6 eggs, to start with.

The Egg must come before the chicken but, what kind of Egg was it?

I can see a plan hatching out...

I wonder if they've had a few silent phone calls if so that'll make them think they are under surveillance

UPDATE:

Mr Faccenda, with the assistance of his staff and a pair of pliers, has finally managed to remove the egg. The disabled chicken has been summarily executed and Mr Faccenda has issued a fatwa on CAG.

UPDATE:

Yes, I did hear Mr Faccenda mumbling something about enforceable agreements being as rare as hens' teeth.

He says he's had enough of the debt collection industry and he's going to try the estate agency market.

:D I think you all are great. A letter like that the way I am would freak me out previously, now all I would do is split my sides. By the way me miss paranoia had the boys in blue bashing on my door at 430am wanting to come in, brushed my fading locks as their were four burley hunks, to be told wrong house:eek:

"Text your DLC reference to 0778 6202573 and we will call you"

I think they missed a bit off the end of that sentence - maybe they printed it in white ink.

The full sentence reads: "Text your DLC reference to 0778 6202573 and we will call you twenty-two times a day with monstrous threats of bailiffs, doorstep collectors, court action, county court judgments, torture, tooth extraction, kidnap of your children, rape of your granny, flood, pestilence, plague, descent into hell and Jeremy Clarkson."

... and under what term or condition does transfer to the debt surveillance department attract 'further charges'?

Is that for Optrex in case they get tired of staring at your debt?

Just shows how stupid they are. Threaten you with further charges and then offer you a 25% discout. Sad thing is 25% of nothing is nothing.

And I thought Lowells were stupid
