I was in the food shopping centre and I heard the self service checkout next to me say ' if you need further assistance just call for help' The man next to me shouted 'help!' in a humours way like you would if you were drowning! We both laughed and the assistant was there like a shot:-D

A memory of being chatted up by one of the members of Blue one night in a bar in Wimbledon, he was given my usual straight answer to rude questions... at the same time my then partner was being chatted by a female member of another band!

I expect I will be watching Eurovision later - can't see the point in Jedward but quite like the Blue song!

Not sure if you saw but my son and his gf recently got their first flat together, so I think I know how you feel. They were friends for 6 years before becoming a couple about 18 months ago so I think they're in it for the long haul.:-)

No i didnt see that caro, these 2 young people both have apprenticeship jobs and a second job, but are happy to do it hopefully at the end of their apprenticeships they will have qualifications that will last through their lives and get better jobs, they know till they qualify it will be hard but they are willing to sacrifice going out, fortunatly they dont drink or smoke so that should help them, im very proud of them both and will do all we can to help them on the right road,
