Because they don’t know their A from their E.

If you have sent an account in dispute letter then there’s not much more you can do. There’s not much more they can do either without an enforceable agreement so it’s a bit of a stalemate situation.

You could re send your request for them to point out where the prescribed terms are but TBH they will probably ignore you.

Now why would they sell the debt on rather than pursue the matter themselves?

I wonder which one of the DCA’s they will pass this one too?

1st Credit is probably the one you want because they have just been slapped about by the OFT.

Gotta love them postcards – I wouldn’t expect anyone to turn up – it’s just mind games – file it away with the rest of the rubbish.

Hi everton

My battle with MBNA has just begun. How long did it take before RMA lost interest or are they still chasing?

There is no such thing as a 0% credit card....... someone out there is paying for it, and for once its not going to be me.

I have had a similar letter, however they have messed up with the dates.

They need to give you 14 days plus 2 for posting, first class. Do not tell them of their mistake.

I responded to their DN with a bemused letter to the person who signed it, reminding them that the account was in dispute.

If you search for bemused letter on the forum, there are some good responses.
