  1. Do a search for durkin v hfc and have a read of his story. That is the extreme of how this could go for you (hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst kinda thing) Keep active on this forum as there is a wealth of advice here available to you.
  2. Religion only fills the answers the questions that science cannot explain. As our knowledge of science grows, the world of religion shrinks. As soon as we know everything about the universe, the problem will be solved
  3. We shouldn't be so serious in the bear garden... I find all the fighting really silly, people killing other people over who's made up god is better. The Bible, The Qur'an and the Tanakh are all great books, whos true meaning have been perverted by mankind who has little knowledge of the intended true meanings of the books as they are now trying to substitute meanings into modern life. Even amongst leaders of the same faith they cannot agree what the real meanings are of their teachings. Time for another Tim Minchin video I think.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYchB7Kxuvs
  4. As much as I loathe Katie Price, and hate the way she's manipulated the press I don't think we can put this one on her....
  5. Mobile contracts are service contracts, and as such they do not have to follow the rules of a credit contract of supplying a default notice. Your best bet is to try to make an arrangement with Tesco to wipe the default as a gesture of goodwill, as they neglected to send the revised bill after they agreed to lower it to £400. I would also argue that it was found unfair not to warn when using data abroad. remember the compliment sandwich when trying to get something... don't be all negative, post some good points that they have (you catch more flies with honey over vinegar). Keep us posted.
  6. the thing that I would worry about is that Vodafone are wanting to profit from a crime... I wonder if the Spanish network was Vodafone Spain.
  7. Gonna answer that theory with one of my favourite quotes The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us. - Bill Watterson
  8. I haggled £50 my oven for taking the extended warranty... then I cancelled the DD before they got any payment
  9. Modify your hosts file 1st as I liked before :- Then run a malwarebytes scan Even if you have some malware, with a good hosts file, it cannot provide adds or track your internet browsing history... your browsing will be a much nicer experience!
  10. To fight adds I have modified my "HOSTS" file. Here is how to do this on windows 8 http://www.howtogeek.com/122404/how-to-block-websites-in-windows-8s-hosts-file/ And here is a hosts file that blocks pretty much all the adverts on the internet (this also includes instructions for older versions of windows) http://www.howtogeek.com/122404/how-to-block-websites-in-windows-8s-hosts-file/
  11. I thought they were in the far right mind....
  12. cheapest solution I can think of is a cheap android phone on the Three network with their £12.90 per month sim only plan with all you can eat data. Make the phone a wifi hotspot and it would act like a home broadband if the coverage was good enough...
  13. Misposted... did not read the end of the thread Congrats on the outcome (even if it was a long sage) and let your wallet do the talking in the future!

Give this a go Pick a number, pick an animal, pick an action and pick a place Write them with the action in caps so something like 3monkeysSHOOTINGthewhitehouse so you get a little story that a human brain finds easy to remember. Check that on this website - https://howsecureismypassword.net/ it would take a computer 75 decillion years to crack that, yet you remember it instantly!
