Well done! I know it can be daunting going to Court but it must feel good getting money from them rather than paying them £100+.

We look forward to hearing your account of the action in Court and it will encourage others who are still thinking of paying up rather than standing up to the crooks.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

well done, how you know that it isnt as bad as many think it is.

Yes please with the full details as we always learn new things from what the judge says when they reach their decision. It doesnt always hinge on things we think are the most important so anything helps us help others

  • 2 weeks later...

he got a proper parking ticket on the day because he took the ticket into court to show the judge for his expenses.

You should provide a letter with all your costs written up on it so that means you dont have to show a parking receipt ( wouldnt be asked for it anyway).

Again, this is suggested in many posts so not sure why OP thought he needed to.

this is why people have to read everything carefully, the parking ticket had a separate receipt so he could have taken that bit in with him if need be. to be fair, the 2 part parkinmg ticket is a little confusing and the bit he left in the car proved he ahd paid and when so the council are creating unneccessary problems and we hope they cancel the charge
