It looks like my days of playing the lottery will be ending in October, they are adding ten more balls so increasing them from 49 to 59 and the odds on winning the jackpot jumps from 14 million to 1 to 45 million to one.

They say they are making up for it by adding another prize, you will get something for getting 2 balls

correct, another bloody lottery ticket, well whoopy.

More chance of winning £1 million apparently and in winning smaller sums. Because you will get a rollover most draws, the jackpots will become massive, so even you got 5 numbers plus the bonus number, it would be a lot more than it is now.

I am presuming they will remove the 4 rollovers max rule to produce bigger jackpots.

Think Camelot will have to explain more or a lot of people will stop playing.

We could do with some help from you.

yeah, better odds elsewhere if going to have a gamble.

win the nat lottery jackpot? more likely to fall out of a plane, get struck by lightning twice on the way down, fall on a huge pile of marshmallows, get up and then get a burger from mcdons that actually looks like its picture. :)

I think I've been here before with this but why not spread the love and have more winners less big winners i.e 20 mil to one person could have been 40 people with 500k. Just an example. This gets into the realms of the secret bank. They have a little independent bank in London I believe that is full of loadsa money winners. You are known as a number. Quite a powerful position for that bank. More control if you keep the money in one place.

Dreadful thing to happen. Ok, he must have known the risks when he got on the plane in that way, but to travel all that way in such appalling conditions only to die pretty much on arrival ?

Eight hours at 35,000 feet with temperatures close to -60°C, the guy would have been dead or very close long before the plane got to London. Either way, not a good way to die.

Worth the £1 to have the hope and dream of winning though. Some ones got to win.

I would take £100 to a casino expecting to lose it. Anything extra is just a bonus.
