Easier said than done, but try to stop worrying. Compliance interviews are checks that everything's as it should be with your claim(s), and that you're in receipt of the correct rates of benefit for your circumstances. There's two possible triggers for them.

A processor may have noticed something minor that's not quite right, but there's no suggestion of fraud. (If there was it'd be an interview under caution with fraud investigation.)

You've been chosen at random, by a computer , for a routine check of your entitlement.

Margaret.

They are looking to see whether anyone else seems to be supporting you financially or whether you or anyone else is financially connected. Same with the tenancy agreement need I would say. But it is just a routine check, I am sure you will be fine.

I know exactly how you are feeling , I have a home visit coming Monday ,the last one was only 12 months ago and the one before that was 18 months ago . I feel so scared ,I have no reason to feel this but I do , its like been in front of the headmaster when you in the infant school .

Ive ended up taking nearly 4 times as many anti depressants over the last 2 weeks ,my head is that messed up with these people.

I think it's a good thing if they regularly assess people, here they don't do a thing, they just leave you alone, you really need to know exactly what you should be getting because they make it up as they go along & you end up having to pay back for their mistakes if you're not on the ball yourself.
