  1. Hi, Me and my wife have a joint ESA account, I'm also her carer. We get child tax credits. Council tax benefit, and housing benefit. We received a letter 4 weeks ago to tell us we need to migrate, but then we're told we'd have another letter with our migration date. I'm dumb here, as I knew it would have to happen at some point. But I believed migration was automatic, and they would simply move us over to UC and that would be that. After all, they have all our details, seemed simple. But from what the leaflet said, we will have to both sign up, and register for all our benefits again, each one individually, and then my wife gives me a partner code and I have to add that to my account to link it? Basically, I've gone and got myself all confused and stressed out in case we miss something, or there's a delay in payments because they need to confirm some things we've got wrong on linking our applications Can anyone who has either been through the migration, or just has experience with it, please put this old fools mind at ease and let me know how easy the application is, and how long it takes to complete and switch over. Also, how long it took for the migration letter to arrive after the initial notice was sent. Cause our post is rubbish and I'm worried that we may well have been sent a date and just not had it delivered Thanks for the help. Anxiety and depression have not been friendly this last few weeks, and it's caused me to get in a bit of sorry state
