A long way to go, hopefully Roy has got a plan 'B' and good use of subs at the right time.

:bored::bored: hasnt it finished yet? I am already fed up with it.

My bet is England to get as far as quarter finals and thats it.

It's a tough group we're in, but I think we'd be unlucky not to get past the group stage... France and Sweden are both good teams... Also, our last match in the group is against Ukraine... If they're still in the running for a place in the quater final, I can see violence if we win!

Already a couple of shock results, and it would be a major shock if England get past the group stages.

In fact, it would be that much of a shock that if I haven't had a heart attack because of it, I would be willing to show my arse in Sainsbury's windows for a week.

Then you women would really love window shopping.

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

Yawn.

Before you criticise another man you should first walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you criticise him, you'll be a mile away and he won't have any shoes on.

Don't get me confused with somebody knowledgeable by all those green blobs. I got most of them by making people laugh.

I am not European, I am English.

England's footballers visited an orphanage in the Ukraine. "It's so sad to see their little faces, knowing that they have no hope", said Oleg, aged 7.

There used to be a Russian female karate champion called Eva Chopabolikov.

Ireland, didn't really get stuck in, too many defensive lapses, they are out after being beaten by Spain, the fav's for the title.

Good Luck to England, looks like he'll play a typical, 4-4-2 formation.

As everyone has said 'A good defence' can only take you so far, they need to be more positive offensively.

France and Ukraine game stopped after 5 minutes following extreme lightning and torrential rain on pitch.Looks quite scary.
