I'm going to contact their local TS - they should know about them.

Don't know about the other - sorry.

All help is merely my opinion only - please seek legal advice if you need to as I am only qualified in SEN law.

Firstly give TS a call.

You normally end up going through Consumer Direct who should pass your complaint to TS.

Now when dealing with TS remember to be calm and professional, after all they have a very difficult job to do.

If you start off ranting and raving then you will get NOWHERE fast.

Be VERY careful whose advice you listen too

You can contact your local Trading standards by phone.

If you do it online it will,as has been suggested be referred.

Your local Trading standards will give you brief advice and your complaint will be logged.

They usually ask for original documents which they take copies of then give you the originals back.

If the complaint is against a company with their registered address in your area, then they will deal directly with them.

If the companies registered offices are outside your area, then your Trading standards will contact the Trading standards offices in that area to find out whether a home agreement exists between them and the company this will determine who actually will take up the case on your behalf.

Hope that helps.

You mean you've not followed it up in the last 12 months?!

Or are they sending you prevarication letters?

Your original request should have been complied with in 12+2 days. It doesn't matter what they now call themselves, they are in default & your request stands. However I do suggest it's about time you considered taking the issue further.

got a letter from theese saying a debt to robers /way has been appointed to them to collect on there behalf i know the account has been in dispute over robers/way not replying to a cca request. they say it is court proceedings straight away should i send them another cca or remind them that the account is in dispute thanks

PG,

They seem quiet fearce but surely if robbinscum can not produce a valid cca or at all, there is no case against debtors.

One would have thought so, but this is the second case on here where they have started to chase a debt in dispute due to lack of a cca request being complied with, time the OFT were informed methinks
