I wasn't aware about BCOBS until very recently, which is a shame because when I was having severe financial difficulties a few years ago it seems that I could have used it against Halifax when they decided to close my OH's bank account because they stated that it wasn't being used enough, even though it was within the agreed overdraft limit in 2010, and against Lloyds TSB who in 2008 had made an agreement with me to accept small monthly payments to reduce my overdraft but then decided to start taking payments for a Lloyds loan from it without even advising me let alone asking for permission, and adding unauthorised fees and interest to the overdraft which soon doubled the amount that I owed again. Shame I didn't know about BCOBS then :x

This might need confirmation but:

Bank of Ireland is in Dublin

I think you might have to issue the claim through the Northern Ireland court service for EIRE.,

All i am saying is confirm first Jurisdiction as HMCTS is England and Wales

But you have a result now but confirmation would be nice as to jurisdiction issues
