Hi,

wonder if anyone can help.

I parked at Asda in a different town to mine where you don't have to pay for parking to shop and

I didn't realise you had to pay to park.

Hold my hands up that I didn't even see the signs and I didn't get a ticket to display.

My question is

the ticket I was given is so scrunched up I can't even read what the fine is!

Is there any come back on this?

Many thanks for any feedback.

Youll get a letter through your door. Wait for that to happen first. Meanwhile, can you post any info you can.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

lemonpinklady,

"the ticket was so scrunched up". This was a windscreen ticket then,

If so the NTK (notice to keeper) must arrive between 29 and 56 days from the NTD (notice to driver).

Wait... Make no contact.

Post up the "ticket" (edit reg. no, ticket no.)

Is there a sign at the entrance to the car park ?

Are there other signs within the car park?

and it is NOT A FINE!!

its a speculative invoice.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

You will find that you dont have to park in Asda car parks but they will employ a bunch of money-grabbers to "manage" their car park and they only make money by issuing claims for breaches of parking, as notified on their signs. In truth, they often get the wording wrong so an illegible ticket will defeat them but they wont hold their hands up to being useless so you have to take the fight to them.

Wait fo the notice to keeper through the post, as already explained and then tell us exactly what is says the driver is supposed to have done wrong. We can then advise you of how to defeat this claim. Keep your shopping receipt safe with this ticket though, you may need it later.
