  1. "You're officially a veteran PPC killer!" I've managed to kill 3 out of 4 now at least. It just goes to show that making the effort to write to the supermarkets will get positive results!
  2. No I was advised to contact Horizon Parking directly by the in-store customer service team. I think they have a good relationship there with the store and don't want to be fleecing the customers that use the store.
  3. UPDATE : SUCCESS! You were right about Horizon parking! Having written to them to explain the situation and attaching my receipts from instore over a couple of weeks to prove I shop there regularly, they let me off! (Redacted letter attached) Hope this helps other people. Regards HorizonReturnLetterRedacted.pdf
  4. Ha Ha! I seem to be making a bit of a habit of this don't I? I think I will go with everyone's suggestion and try and contact the store, as I did use it that day for a few items. Thanks all for your input!
  5. I was waiting for this ticket, because I was aware I had overstayed at the car park on the day by a couple of hours, having bumped into an old school friend after parking, when I returned having been in the supermarket I found I was unable to pay for the extra time using the Horizon parking App, they only allow parking going forward in time - How Mean! At the moment it is only £40 but I am very reluctant to pay these fleecers that much, since they make no provision for people returning a little later to their cars than anticipated. CAG Mandatory Questionnaire filled out below. Any advice on what to do will be gratefully received. I had thought to phone them up and give them half the amount of £20 only and let them decide if its worth fighting me in court. Is there any law which covers Parking apps giving people chance to pay for late parking? 6. UPDATE RESULT! Having written to Morrisons Customer services instore and uploading my receipt to prove I had shopped in the store, I received an email from them stating they were happy to cancel the charges and in the future, if my stay was going to be a lot longer than 2 hours, to let someone at customer services know. Please see a copy (redacted) of their response below. Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry you have received a parking charge when visiting with us recently. To help us make sure there are plenty of car parking spaces for our customers we do operate a pay and display policy and a 2-hour limit but we know sometimes 2 hours might not be enough time if you are doing a large shop or want to grab a bite to eat or if you simply need a little extra time. With this in mind should you find you do need more time to shop with us please let our colleagues know on the Customer Service Desk have your registration number and they will make sure you do not receive a charge. It’s great that you enjoy shopping with us and as a much valued customer we are happy to cancel the parking charge for you. Any payments made will be refunded within 14 days. Please let us know if there is anything else I can help you with and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Kindest regards Contact Centre Wm Morrisons Supermarkets Limited Hilmore House, Gain Lane, Bradford, BD3 7DL ref:_00DD0ojDb._5003z2jxZaP:ref
  7. Yes, unlike the Waitrose carpark, Morrisons themselves seem to own this one. I shall do this and let you know. But if I am not successful any other advice?
  8. I've got a highlighted copy of Section 9 on my desk. So what you were saying is that Euro car parks MUST STATE in the NTK that they do not know the name or current address of the driver in order to comply with Sec 9 (2), as well as State its invitation to the keeper to pay the charges or let the creditor know the name and details of actual driver ..... (Sec 9 (2) (e) (ii) ?
  9. Thanks for this Yes, I've got the card transaction on my bank statement. Shall I use the above quote from PoFA and where they've breached when writing the CEO?
  10. This is the second PCN received, to which I was completely oblivious until last week, this time from my servicing Morrisons supermarket and Cafe, on my way home after a very long week of work in the North of England back in June. I was very tired and stayed in the car for about 20 mins to rest my eyes before using the supermarket. I received dated 15/07/23 giving me until 15 of this month to cough-up the money after which no doubt they'll be sending in the heavies by the name of DR+ ! Date of the infringement 09/06/23 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] 16/06/23 3 Date received Not sure, as only opened this last week 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [Y/N?] Y, same format as for the Waitrose PCN received 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? No 2023-06-09 NTK Incident 9-6-23.pdf
  11. Yes, there is another one I collected, from Morrisons about a month later, same format, from euro car parks. This time I was 20 minutes over. Shall I start another thread and try not to remove vital parts in converting the redacted copies of the letter from JPEGs to PDF?
