First Plus- Another one ! (it won't let me attach a link)

I recently put in a claim with First Plus after finding this forum & was expecting a lot of backwards & forwards.

Instead they replied within a week in my favour - Now nearly £4000 back & £70 odd better off a month.

I think most of it was down to submitting everything in one go correctly the first time stating exactly what I was after & can only put that down to the advice found on here & the kind assistance from member " ims " in making sure I'd got everything needed.

Good Luck everyone if you've got anything ongoing & I'm sure everything you need can be found on here without resorting to one of the companies that will charge you the earth for something you can do yourself.

Peter.

I was told by someone on here that because I went bankrupt, I wouldn't be able to claim back my PPI. They were wrong! I have got a letter from MBNA today saying I was successful, and have a cheque on its way to me for £1,500. Thank god I ignored that person's statement and did it anyway or I would have lost out!

  • 4 weeks later...

Just a quick post to say thanks to everyone on CAG after I defeated TSB with a victory of over 13k in claims and 2k wiped off from outstanding loan. So around a total win of 15k.

As a result my debts have been cleared and finances have been completely revitalised coming back from only having £50 a week to spend on food/drink/gas/electricity and will allow me to save each month instead of having to worry as much about every penny outlayed.
