  1. afetr 14 e mails and lots of threats they have now decided to refund the £12 as a "courtesy" but are blamimg me and the bank WHAT A LOAD OF SHARKS wish i had never got in the trap and thanks to easy ppi win am now out of it. Good luck to all those still fighting with these loan sharks
  2. yes I have cancelled in the past and you can still claim compensation if you think it was mis sold, just write to them to cancel then submit a claims form that you can download for free off the financial ombudsman site
  3. just want to get over how easy it is to do it yourself evidently claims companies have taken over 51million of the compensation which the people who paid it should have, wi;ll be more than happy to help anyone with their claims the claims companies are as bad as pay day loan companies
  4. having decided to proceed with a claim myself I was surprised how easy it was I most also praise hfc bank for the speed and way they handled the case, I only went on my own when a claims company i was going to use told me I had to write to hfc and get the account number, well if I have to do this may as well do the whole thing myself, by being lazy they did themselves out of 3 grand thank you very much
  5. Ha ha jiust had quick quid on the phone not budging, it was the worst phone line ever and boy are they sacred of the OFT offered me £12 off my next loan when i told tham what to do with the loan they panicked, hung up on them as couldn't understand a word from our friend across the water and told them it was now all going to OFT they are certainly scared of the OFT so I urge everyone on these chats to sends ALL the information to the OFT we may see payday loan companies regulated at last
  6. Thank you I have lodged the complaint with quick quid but not the bank am e mailing them as soon as this is nposted Thank you
  7. i was unfortunate to get involved with these sharks, having now sorted out my finances I paid off the outstanding amount, however they took £12 more than the total when I queried it I was told that they applied for the money on the 12th april but it was declined so they took it in 2 amounts one of which was on the 13th so they cahrged me £12 On checkling with the bank it clearly shows both amounts taken on the 12th and the bank state that quick quid chose to take it in 2 amounts and that there was no refusal. They will not refund the charges and are treating me like a leper. Be aware of their wonderful tv adverts they are just glorified loan sahrks who don't hang around on street corners
