You need to edit your attachment/s. For your own anonymity, please cover up the car registration, their reference numbers, etc and obscure your numberplate in the photos.

You've obviously decided not to pay this, so ignore Simple Simon until Latter of Claim stage.

There was a typo with "date received"- I've corrected it.

As the PCN was issued on airport land the area is covered by Bye laws so does not come under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012. This means that the charge cannot be transferred from the driver to the keeper and only the driver is responsible to pay the PCN.

Even if you were the driver thousands of other people are able to legally drive your car and the Court does not accept that the keeper and the driver are the same person. So as long as you do not tell them who was driving they will have problems trying to get paid.

 

Could you please post up the first page of your PCN. But this time can you dedact your personal info and your car reg number but ensure that all the words in the PCN are included this time. 

It is an impoetant document and if wrongly worded can help you.

Just an update so far they have stopped sending letter to the registered keepers address but are now sending letters to a family member of the same name 

the letters are now from  debt recovery plus

stating pre-legal still currently ignoring all communications

It'll be fun if they actually issue proceedings to the wrong person!

VCS do like surprises so don't tell them that they are writing to the wrong person. The longer you keep it up the bigger their surprise.Tell your relative not to give the game away until Court time is drawing near. Then let them know. They will laugh and laugh and probably decide to not even take you to Court.
