Post 22 is the way to go,

You've been here enough years and had things explained enough times already mr worried

You already know the score

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi DX. I am curious to know when 'they, the dca' decide its a Lemon. When they purchase the debt? Then all proyocol goes out the window. Spose i have answered my own question above.

Regards..Mr Worried :)

what bit of they dont care, they want money is unclear?

Just remember the statistic, 85% of court claims are not defended, 80% people just dont bother responding so that leaves 5% of people admitting they owe the money.

If you dont admit owing the money the join the 15% who fight and they will run away. They like the others best regardless that only 5% of ther claims can have any merit. It is not about people, it is about numbers

Hi Brassnecked - just read a comment of yours dated 24/11/16 re Cabot - it must be as near as dammit unenforceable if Cabot has the debt - I have 'debt' with Cabot - obviously,it's nice to read that - but how true is it?!

Cabot rarely ever get enforceable debts.

They prefer to but buy UE ones very cheaply then harass and pressure people into paying.

They know the vast majority of people have no idea what dcas are or how to check the validity of a debt so they use that to their advantage.

They have total disregard for regulation which is why sites like cag exist.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

They often get debts that have already been through several DCA, so by the time they have it a CCA might be impossible to find, and it could be SB or near the SB date.

We could do with some help from you.
