Tax credits Renewal

Hi just wondering if anyone may have any info on this.

I renewed my tax credits on the 18th june online.

still not heard back or anything and i know the deadline is the 31st now what will happen will i keep getting my normal tax credits payments?i have done my renewal in plenty of time just not heard back.

as long as you completed the renewal then you should be fine, the award notices don't generally arrive until sometime after 31st July. As long as you're still entitled, you'll continue to get paid.

 

If you're in any way worried give hmrc a call to confirm your online renewal was received.

Thanks you at the min my payments have not changed when should i start seeing my new payments is that after the 31st

It depends when your renewal is processed - it will be on a pile to be processed/checked and as it is a busy time it can take longer than the standard 4 weeks. If you're worried, give them a call.

The timescale for renewals is at least 8 weeks (sometimes for if getting checked by compliance).

 

New awards will be sent after it processes and if any changes to payments this will be on the award notice.
