I'm sure the buttons will be back soon :p

Poor webby has not had a break all weekend. Kudos to Webby for sorting things out so quickly.

Well done Webby and folk who have sorted this all out for CAGGERS.

It all works well for me at home but here at work I am missing times at the top of posts!

Some of the graphics don't seem to load properly either.........buttons for things, layout.........might be a work thing though!

The QUOTE box as speech bubble is a nice touch

I still do not have time stamp ( keep pressing Ctrl+F5) has helped

no text colour option

agree on edit button 1 hour max is more than fair.

I am sure it will all work out in the end

such a large forum (as it should be)

webmaster is doing a damn good job repairing fixes on the fly and off the cuff.

:)

regards

bill

Well done webby, my 'navs' & 'last unread post' are back.

Looking further into 'the Chrome issue' it seems to be the javascript 'popupctrl' that is causing the problems.

On page load all the controls are expanded into scrollable lists

You can click on a control and it will disappear, however, on mousehover (or in/out whatever it uses) there are also very strange things happening, especially with the thread tools & search box.

Mousehover over thread tools once it is 'docked' and the search nox disappears and all controls shuffle to the right, mouse hover over the search button and the box reappears.

There is obviously something fundamental in the implementation of the popup controls that just doesn't get on with Chrome's engine.

Unfortunately I'm not a web programmer nor Javascript - give me an embedded 8051 assembler problem and I'd be onto it ;-) although I am just starting to have a look at C# & WPF

If you find my advice helpful - please click on my scales

<<<<<< - they're over there!

Well, it's a funny black star now ...

The small print - any advice I give is freely given on the understanding that I am a layman and am not legally qualified in anyway.

Has anyone mentioned the fact that the date of posting seems to have dissapeared?

No, because they haven't (not in firefox 4.0 beta2 anyway).

The above post constitutes my personal opinion on the facts in the post compared with my personal knowledge of the applicable legislation. I make no guarantees of its legal accuracy. If you are in doubt seek advice of a legal professional specialising in the area concerned.

Go to settings, top right, then subscriptions on the left this brings up everythread your on, including the ones you started.

This only gives any posts since upgrade, not the historical posts we all rely on :(

Personally I use google.... type in the phrase I'm looking for and then finish it with site:consumeractiongroup.co.uk

If in doubt, contact a qualified insured legal professional (or my wife... she knows EVERYTHING)

Or send a cheque or postal order payable to Reclaim the Right Ltd.

to

923 Finchley Road London NW11 7PE

Click here if you fancy an email address that shows you mean business! (only £6 and that will really help CAG)

If you can't donate, please use the Internet Search boxes on the CAG pages - these will generate a small but regular income for the site

Please also consider using the

C.A.G. Toolbar

I think I'm on IE 8 and don't have page navigation option. Also i had subscribed to many threads that ahve now gone from my list of subscriptions.

It's looking much better though with greater definition etc

(Trying noy to be negative all the time!)

I personally still can't understand why people still use IE as there is Firefox and many others out there. (Firefox being my own personal choice).

Try downloading Firefox free, and when you install it, it will automatically transfer your favourites from IE to the Firefox bookmarks. No messing about.

If all else fails, kick them where it hurts and SOD'EM;)

I use both, but for mainly text pages such as CAG I like IE8, the pages seem easier to read. (the fonts look smoother)

Tell you what I do miss and that's seeing who the last poster was on a thread. Also, in the PM lists you have to reopen the message to delete them, be handy if you could just delete them from the list. Small issue and not the most important for webby just now, but one to add to the list.

The other is the italics in the quote box I find irritating to read, along with the bland background it's beginning to make my eye's sore. Do you supply drops webby? LOL
