Meh, all these bands like Bloc Party, The Kooks and stuff all sound the same to me if I ever hear them played somewhere. But I'm into Hardcore Punk, people have been telling me that all sounds the same for years lol

I have been really stupid

I logged into my husbands facebook account and posted some not very nice things

 

He has found out it was me who did this and is threatening me with a police visit and that he is going to get me arrested

Can he do this?

Yes the Police could be interested enough to visit

yes, you could be arrested and charged with an offence, most likely for harassment if they consider this as part of a campaign of harassment.

 

ie- You have done, or do something else similarly *stupid* against your ex.

 

Do yourself a favour and direct whatever bitterness you feel in a more constructive direction.

Please don't take this the wrong way but you asked the question, and got an answer. I'm sorry it's probably not the one you were looking for. Whether the police are bothered about doing anything is another question, as I said in my first post. Guess it depends on the wider picture.

Fair dos' this thread has gone way off topic.

 

Did you or anyone remove everything you posted onto facebook? If it is gone, then I wouldn't worry, to be honest I really wouldn't worry either way, the man is a d**k! However, people on here were giving you the worst case senario.

 

I guess the thread has headed this way after I poked fun of him with his 'young' girlfriend; I hope you didn't take offence, I just wanted you to realise that EVERYONE will see him as a joke, especially when they are seen together.

 

Like I said before, you are well rid of it, and if you take advise off here, then you can get the debts to a level that suits you and hopefully throw off a few of the unenforceable ones.

If he has been doing naughty things which are likely to incite his wife's anger, and has not changed his passwords to ones his wife would not know, then HE has been rather stupid.

 

He would have one hell of a job proving that your access to the account was "unauthorized", when he has almost certainly shared the password with you, and then not bothered to change it when he started doing things which any rational person would expect might just annoy their spouse a little bit.

 

If you still have access, delete the offending material. Then forget it. And forget him as well. There are plenty of decent men out here who don't behave like this.

people are only trying to point out how ridiculous he has made himself look.

yes, you shouldnt have done what you did, but dont worry too much about it, there will in all likelyhood be no comeback from this, s i very much doubt a grown man would seriously consider ringing th epolice to tell them his ex wife had left insulting messages on his facebook page.

 

if he does the police will probably tell him that they cant do anything about it , plus also facebook has the facility for him to remove the messages himself.

 

hes not going to shell out a load of £££ pursuing a libel case against you.

 

my mum did a simarlar thing when she and her ex partner split up, she used to go into his email account and read his personal emails until i told her to stop doing it because firstly it was an invasion of privacy and secondly because it served no purpose whatsoever, other than to give her an excuse to bitch about him, even though it was her that sent him packing.

 

just leave it well alone, ignore him and try to get your debt situation sorted out, no doubt his kid girlfriend will dump him soon anyway when she either gets bored of hanging around with her grandad or realises what a sad pathetic man he is.

Deleting threads is not the norm

Whatever the opinions thoughts or rights and wrongs of the issues,the fact remains that the OP came here with a dilema in her eyes.

These things happen every day for different reasons-its not particularly nice if you are on the receiving end of it.

18 year old girls grow up into 35 year olds too-usually when they get to that age they are a little more judgemental and hae loads more life experience.

Its not my place to judge-everyone to their own,but when theres a third party involved in your own relationship,then its not very nice-I can vouch for that I have suffered it twice.
