I haven't replied to the garbage CrapOne sent me and I haven't heard a peep from them. I can only imagine the 750 who are being made redundant by August are also eating bourbons to pass the time!

My favourite reply to the "please confirm your date of birth" is to say: "OK, what do you think it is?" and say that you can only confirm it if they give you the correct answer. You can then mock them on their poor choice of wording :)

I had one call from India. I asked if I could have a Chicken Biryani, a Lamb Korma, 2 Nans and a portion of chillied onions. I haven't heard a thing since!:D

ROFPMSL

My order would have been onion bajis with mint sauce, chicken tikka massala, basmati rice and keema nan :D

I must admit, I'm not a fan of the foreign call centres for the simple reason that they (the staff) often have a very grasp of English, are hard to understand and often know nothing about UK laws, customs and rights.

Funny enough I have found that even most UK based staff have a poor grasp of English and know nothing about the law or consumers rights:D

Looking at my files I have sent a telephone harrasment letter to Capone but not to Capone calling themselves Debitas so there's a little jobby for today ;)

You should send a little jobby in the envelope - that would get the point across.

Before you criticise another man you should first walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you criticise him, you'll be a mile away and he won't have any shoes on.

Don't get me confused with somebody knowledgeable by all those green blobs. I got most of them by making people laugh.

I received a classic capone letter later today, having probs with photobucket so cannot post at the mo but it went as follows:

... Thank you for contacting us about your account.

Unfortunately I couldn't look into this because you didn't sign your letter. So that I can do this for you, please write to me again at... etc etc

Or I can call and once I have gone through a security check one of their 'Specialist Account Managers' will answer my query immidiately.

I can only guess this is a response to my 'doorstep caller' letter and they have forgotten what they were calling themselves that day.

They must be very keen to get your signature
