Had a phonecall from Robinson Way last night reg a London Scottish debt that apparently they now own:

Me - Hello

RW - Hello this is ****** from Robinson Way Debt Collectors, can I speak to Mrs ******* please?

Me - Not really no

RW - I need to confirm some details with you before we proceed

Me - Ok

RW - Can you confirm your full name please?

Me - Go on you have a go first

RW - Pardon?

Me - Let's play a guessing game your turn first!

RW - What is your full name please Mrs ********

Me - Er Er (Family Fortunes Wrong Answer Sounds)

RW - This is a serious matter now confirm your address please

Me - Not sure where I am at the moment so I will get back to you later

RW - This is not a joke, you need to take it seriously, you have to confirm these details to me, it is a legal requirement.

Me - Really?

RW - Yes

Me - Oooohh, will I got to prison if I don't answer?

RW - It could go that way Mrs ********

Me - Yeah whatever you say my friend, come one I thought we were playing a game?

RW - You have an outstanding balance of £***, how are you going to pay this amount?

Me - We haven't confirmed who I am yet so why are you telling me someone elses balance?

RW - Um...err, I'm sure we confirmed who you were?

Me - No we didn't, isn't what you've just done very wrong? I might have to come and spank your bottom now!

RW - Excuse me?

Me - Would you enjoy that, come one you know you would!

RW - This is ridiculous!

Me - You said it!

RW - (Click, hangs up)

Robbo`s have developed a habit of churning out the odd prison threat of late. Perhaps its the stress of possible future unemployment, we all say things we dont mean :p

It's what you get when you rely on DCA's to help you find them.

If they don't know what a CCA is, then they have no chance

of finding a teatowel in a big pile of teatowels in a teatowel factory.

I like the STD line of conversation. :D I'd just give myself away with the giggles though.

I know, it was hard working there when I spotted somebody I knew, I left it up to them if they acknowledged me... at least I had the ID badge to prove where I worked!

Is that my tea-towel?

It has yellow stripes running through it.

That's not my tea-towel

It is single yellow lines .. (etc, etc in a Terry Pratchett-style).
