Have been though all paypal account me and my gf have and having used advanced search the transaction seems to have disappeared!

My gf has also had no receipts to any of her email addresses confirming the part refund they claim to have sent.

Also, in her won item the £ would be half unshaded if a part refund had been issued however if is still bold.

We now have a situation that we can't report them to paypal or ebay as the transaction appears to not exist!

The paypayl payment can't have disappeared. Have you tried this way.

Log in to Ebay. Go to My Ebay, then the transaction. Click on the link to the item bought and then, when logged in as the buyer you should be able to follow the link to the payment for that transaction at the very top of the item listing page.

I should say something like "This item was paid for by Paypal on xxxxx date" and then further down on the left it will say "See details of this transaction". That should find you the paypal payment.

Whne you have logged on to paypal, check that the transaction has not been partially refunded in any way.

On paypal you can search by payments "sent to" or transaction number etc.

I am about to PM you about point 4 of my "evil plan" ;)

I've PM'd an explanation of part 4 of the plan.

Has the transaction been partially refunded?

Hi Kregrs.

There a few options you have and ignore this idiot of a seller and police etc.

First of all, how did you fund the paypal transaction? by bank or cc or dc?

have you double checked the refund trasnaction number to check?

The seller has opened the unpaid item or ddelaying tatics as they will be aware that you cannot open a dispute while he has! go to dispute cosole in my ebay and add the transaction number from the paypal payment!

How did they send the top? was it recorded delivery and did you return it by recorded delivery?

What date did you win this top?

Ida

IF he had used a Credit Card then POSSIBLY.

However not all Credit Cards will offer a chargeback facility for Paypal, or other internet transactions.

It's important to check with your own CC provider to see if they operate this facility.

:)

Any news Kregrs?

I dont suppose you know of any that do that kind of thing off hand. I'd be interested in knowing more about that kind of process.

Egg might be one example?

Off hand I don't know, sorry.

The best place to ask that may well be the Postage and Payment Community Discussion Board on Ebay. There are some very knowledgeable folk on there.

What happened? My gf's a/c was banned, for supposedly threatening the seller. The seller is still trading on Ebay despite numerous complaints made about their conduct and listings. Oh, and we still have neither the full refund OR top.

Very confused here. And possibly wishing I hadn't got involved.

Frankly, having checked your GFs account it's more than likely that three r four unpaid item disputes was why she was banned.

Without PROOF ebay do not Ban for "threats". I know this for a fact having had threatening emails sent through ebay to me and the person concerned continued to trade, after getting a ticking off.

To be honest, having checked the feedback ebay probably isn't the place for your girlfriend. 2 neutrals for not paying for winning bids in May, 2 negs for the same all within a month of registering.

The feedback mentions getting abusive, etc.

Please don't bother doing the same with me.

Your Girlfriends account was only opened in April this year and by May/June it was NARU.

I said at the beginning that I was trying to see both sides.

I wish now I had been more objective.
