Hi,

I had an accident with another driver who refused to give me details claiming it was my fault. It was in a very busy road with the road blocked and cars beeping so I didnt have time to write details down or get witnesses.

Making a claim under the mobility scheme or for any insurer I'd imagine they would want full details, regestriation number of vehicle involved, date, time, video recording, witnesses. drawings. I feel my claim will be turned down instantly.

My lease is expiring soon im getting a new car, however they will charge me for the damage I need a complete new rear bumper and 2 side panels got quoted £450 supplied and fitted side panels probbally £1000 for a new supplied and fitted rear bumper.

What are my options?

Thanks.

if he claims it was your fault i expect you'll be hearing from his insurance company

bet you had your mobile phone with you though...you should always be taking photos instantly regardless to blame.

is the car registered to them, i expect it is? and when was this accident?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Just make a claim to your Insurance company, which you have to do so anyway, as it is a condition of the Insurance to notify of all accidents.  Just explain the reasons for not collecting too many details.  The Insurers will be used to having few details collected on some occasions.

We could do with some help from you.
