It just dawned on me that Spark are yet to send me anything relating to the SAR I sent them. The last I had back from them was that they had everything they needed and would respond within 30 days from the original request. That would have passed almost a month ago.

What is my next step with Spark? Should I just contact them again, or do I need to complain to someone?

ring and ask whats going on with the sar.

if not time to complain to the regulator...the ICO

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

So I just checked MCOL and the following is under the claim history ...

DQ sent to you on 29/01/2019

DQ filed by claimant on 12/02/2019

General sanctions order was made on 22/02/2019

What does general sanctions order mean? I checked the tracking information and one of the DQ letters I sent wasn't signed for until the 20th for some reason. Even though it was sent recorded first class.

General sanctions are imposed on one party for failing to comply with directions by the dates stated...reading between the lines the court has not received your DQ on time ?

Have you received the " General sanctions order was made on 22/02/2019 " ?

We could do with some help from you.

Its an Order that usually is an " Or Else " Order allowing you extra time to submit.....I would contact MCOL and explain and disclose you proof of postage.

Alternatively email them a further copy to day after contacting them

We could do with some help from you.

Just an update on this one.  I contacted mediation a day before the deadline.  The claimant were yet to contact mediation to agree the date and time and the mediation team said they would e-mail me once the claimant had also made contact.  Failing that the courts would allocate a date and time for the hearing.  I've not heard anything yet so I can only assume that they didn't confirm mediation and it will go straight through for a court date.
