tesco pcn's

any body know if Tesco do their own pcn's or not.

just found the info.

 

aI was at Tesco on official business when I had parked my vehicle on their car park,

i noticed that my stay may be over the said time limit of 3hrs,

I informed a senior member of staff of this who then proceded to inform the security office of this to cancel any pcn being issued.

now !

she asked for my reg no to cancel the charge but explained that the security cameras could or did not register my vehicle on arrival.

because instead of going onto the site the way most people do where the cameras monitor I followed the road around the building entering from another direction,but still on the same land.

 

YOU GUESSED IT no cameras on entering at that entrance,thats why they couldnt find my vehicle on the cctv system,sorted.

i think i know the tesco you mean, is it in the north west by any chance, next to a motorway?

As no evidence can be offered as to the time you arrived then this claim is ridiculous and deserves no explanation. Dont bother with the parking co, you wont get any sense out of them but if you get any follow up letters it would be worth writing to the CEO of Tescos with a complaint of harassment.

,my point was Tesco seem to be able to cancel pcn's at source instantly,

and also pointing out that I was able to enter their parking site without the reg being on their system.

 

no need for any further action as I was an invited guest to the said Tesco store,

was more of an informative post.cheers

apparently I was informed, Tesco own the land their superstores are on so are able to cancel pcn's at source.

when as a visitor/staff you have to input your vehicle reg into a computer so no pcn is given.

unless you know different please let us know cheers.
