Again in memorial

not this time to a friend but this time a little closer to home

 

my wife and i found out we were expecting around 6 weeks ago

 

unfortunately at the dating scan and subsequent emergency scans it has been discovered that the the unborn child has iniencephaly and as such we have taken the difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy on strongly advised medical grounds

 

as you can imagine this has come as a heavy blow to us

 

and therefore i would just like everyone to hold the memories of this poor child and remember any other people who may have suffered recently

thanks you all, the procedure was done today and appears ok

 

we will be given another meeting in a few weeks where we will be told the full tale and given the chances of it happening again
