Hi, I to have received a PCN from Premier Park today for an aledged offence at the beginning of June. It was a pull in and drop off in a empty car park. A clear photo of entry and exit is part of the notice. How likely is it that they have a clear pic of the driver? It is only refered to as a Parking Charge Notice on the payment slip on which it also asks for declaration of owner / driver, but this is only for change of ownership. At the time, I didn't notice there were signs erected, although from google maps there appears to be, but to read them you would have to enter the car park and not obstruct the highway. Ironically they have mis-spelt my name, so does this render the 'invoice' invalid, if it ever had validity? The only concern is the Protections of Freedoms Act 2012, sch4 - why doesn't this apply?

Your thoughts would be appreciated to calm the wife and give me strength to ignore the repeat letters.

Thanks

LJ

Hi all

New on here but thought I'd post as would like some advice/ feedback.

I received a parking ticket today from these guys pps. Reason being not parking within allocated bay markings , and to be totally honest my front wheel was encroaching on the adjacent bay . But this was a knock on effect from the car situated next to the bay I parked in.

Should I ignore / pay ???

Help cheers jimbo

STOP and think what you are asking...Should i pay a cowboy because i parked over a stupid white line a few inches on a private car park £60 ??

The answer should be why should you as we are not all slaves yet..But some still pay because they have been conditioned..

I would also like your input on this case.

A good friend of mine was given a Parking Charge Notice by PPS while she was parking in exeter. the problem is that whilst she does not deny that she was there and in fact had indeed overstayed. the details on the notice are incorrect, make and colour are ok but VRM in wrong only by one letter but wrong none the less.

I advised her that seeing as it is not the VRM that is no her car then I do not believe that she has to pay it.

What do you think?

Hi

I recently received a parking ticket also from PPS and although I was 2 minutes over according to the parking notice (or on time by my own watch) I decided to appeal. After seeing all of these posts, I wish I hadn't now.

My appeal letter stated that the two parking meters were 4 minutes apart so as they think I was in contravention of the rules, the two machines should have clearly been showing the same time ( how am I to know which one they used to book me)! I was on time according to one of them and not the other.

Anyway, I've just received a letter saying my appeal was invalid and now want to ignore it, but as I've already appealed (by email so they haven't chased the DVLA for my address details yet), do you think it's still ok to ignore? Or have I started something now whereby they will actually take me to court?

Micheller1967, have you heard anything 4 months on after your appeal?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
