Hi I recently received a parking ticket also from PPS and although I was 2 minutes over according to the parking notice (or on time by my own watch) I decided to appeal. After seeing all of these posts, I wish I hadn't now. My appeal letter stated that the two parking meters were 4 minutes apart so as they think I was in contravention of the rules, the two machines should have clearly been showing the same time ( how am I to know which one they used to book me)! I was on time according to one of them and not the other. Anyway, I've just received a letter saying my appeal was invalid and now want to ignore it, but as I've already appealed (by email so they haven't chased the DVLA for my address details yet), do you think it's still ok to ignore? Or have I started something now whereby they will actually take me to court? Micheller1967, have you heard anything 4 months on after your appeal?
