Since when is breaching 300.00 near 200.00, come on sky. :( She said I didnt mention anything about taxis, she is correct, I said out of pocket expenses and gave an example of how it was breaching 300.00. They came to a conclusion that meant they were not listening to me again. I clearly can be heared on tape saying 300.00, so hope she rings back and sorts it out.

Thing is when you dont have a land line or mobile contract and a company lets you repeatedly have to chase them on 0844 or 0845 numbers on a mobile what do they expect. One call alone was 10.00 and that was not untypical, then there was the mobile and mobile broadband dongle and costs of getting to the town, of course I only went there for that purpose, so sky should recompense me for that. I have obviously a contract with tesco which needs paying despite my disruption in service due to sky, they are looking into trying to help me there, but in the meantime my bank still pays the bills. The calls from when my line went first down to prior to it going down again chasing an apology and my confirmation that despite texts and letters to contrary that sky were to as promised make sure my line did not go dead again, but fruitless in the end, still cost me money.

It is only after help did I find there are 0800 numbers that lead you in sky and I now will use those, but obvously even on mobile 0800 numbers would have cost me.

So basically two months of chasing costs money, the vast majority being the last few weeks.

Now answer me this, How prompt are sky finance side at chasing why a possible direct debit has failed or bounced or bill not paid. I will tell you VERY PROMPT and you can even almost guarantee a call back from them the following day to chase it up. I know I got one after stopping my dd to them because of the hastle and they knew nowt about it.

Just uneccesary stress, so why sky did it take weeks and weeks to help me. You know what I dont really care now, just do what promised and refund me 300.00 and you wont have to deal with me.

Imagine how peed off I would have been had I actually received the email, my son incidently has looked and said nowt is there anyhow !!!

Now I dont mind her listening to the call, it points our the importance or recording such discussions. She will soon get back to me with her hearing 300.00 I have no doubt.

I mean I wouldnt expect her to take my word for it and where exactly along all of this thread have I been incorect as in responsibility. oooOOh only in relation to what sky tole me relating to tesco being at fault.

I mean nowadays it seems you cant take the word of a well known and respected company. I thought I could :(. This last week was their chance at restitution and restoring faith and me accepting they made a mistake. A damm big one for peeing me off and making my hair fall due to stress. Thing is surely they can get this bit right, hey ;(

Put it this way compared to what I would have asked for at mediation and court I though accepting the 12 months tv and 300.00 refund, though less than would have asked for from court, was reasonable of me and reasonable of them to try to come to arrangement with me and therefore goodwill restored.

If they dont sort this the goodwill will have dissapeared and I will return to former plan of action. I accepted the tv with 300.00, if they disagree they are welcome to turn it off as they will have rescinded the agreement.

LL is angry and come on how long does it take to listen to a call xxxx

  • 3 weeks later...

Do I have my money yet?

NO:mad2:

Was told as soon as had cheque in hand would ring me. After hearing nowt for nearly two weeks I rang her to be told it might be for some unknown reason my cheque has not been printed, but she would again get back to me. Herd nowt so emailed asking where was my cheque and to be fair within mins she called me and told me when she was next in and that I would get a call.

Did I get the promised call?

NOPE

So I know they will pay me £300.00 but when havnt got a clue. Must admit she is a pleasant woman, but when told will get a call and it doesnt happen it grates on you.

I mean they could just credit my bank account, I wont mind or create a fuss if 300.00 appears, chances of that null I think, untill then I think, come on sky, the tellies fine now and thank you for that, but wheres my dosh so i can tell all here I got it?

xx

Can happily say my cheque for 300.00 arrived as promised, so can put it all to an end xx I also am very happy with still having sky on the tv as the service I can say has been fine and the fact I have 12 months free is obvioulsy a very nice outcome out of such a stressful experience. I do like my operation repo and dog the bounythunter:-)

If you want a laugh I am now struggling to find my bank paying in book as have to use certain slip and envelope to pop into local branch of po counters, but I am sure it will turn up even if have to tear house apart, but of course thats my problem no one elses xxxx

Thanks for listening xx:whoo:
