Just been offered a fantastic job, fantastic money that I applied for a couple of months ago.

Since having the interview I have moved house and now live 90 miles away.!!!!!!!!:-x

If i had only been offered it before I made the decision to move :-x

Dotty, couldn't agree with you more about these Tiscali/TalkTalk changes........might as well go back to snailmail, or dial-up, it'd be quicker

I think it should give you a few minutes charleyfarley but that's all

Called into Superdrug yesterday all I wanted was some talc. I got to the till placed the talc down and said "Just this please"

 

Assistant - "Would you like any stamps today?"

 

Wino - "No just the talc thank you"

 

Assistant - Do you want a phone top up?"

 

Wino - "No thank you, just the talc"

 

Assistant - "Are you intrested in some Nivia deodarant it is on offer?"

Wino - :mad2: (Gritting teeth) "No thank you":-x

 

 

Next time I will go two doors up to Boots where I can just be allowed to pay for what I want to buy.

tis ok terms that i can cope with..what really has got to me is finding out a friend at work has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and been given 6 months at the most :-( and the other day my neighbour telling me he has been diagnosed with it too makes you realise how lucky you are i know we all have aches and pains and problems but i know what i would rather put up with.Make the most of everyday as it comes cos you don't know when it will be your last :-( rant over

Very true Tilly and I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and your neighbour.

 

My son phoned me the other week and told me that one of his best friends had died unexpectedly at the age of 23. Poor boy was taking part in a charity run when he collapsed and died. Such a waste of a young and promising life.

 

I can't begin to imagine how his parents are coping.

 

As you say - it makes you realise how lucky you are when you hear such terrible things.

The F*****G X FACTOR and that P***K COWELL.

 

I have never had a problem with this program, until this year. What a complete load of dross!!!!

 

Does Mr Cowell really think that we are all that stupid to beleive that now (of all times), it is a genuine (unbiast) competition????

 

 

You've got your money A*** HOLE. Now F**K OFF and give us all a break.:mad2:
