Sheepshead, just follow tried and tested steps in this site, you will get there eventually.

Kazzaw's order has no direct bearing on your claim. Would not attempt summary judgement, this is where there is no triable issue and the question of bank charges is in my view not one of these.

Thanks for all your good wishes!!

No cheque yet!! Hope they've sent it first class today or I won't have it before the deadline!! If this was my current account they could pay it into my account at the last minute but it's for a closed credit card account so it has to be a cheque.

How do I send the bailiffs in if nothing received by Monday afternoon? Do I have to write to the court?

FIRST DIRECT: £4751.86 SETTLED IN FULL 5/07/06 :-)

TESCO VISA CARD: £90 SETTLED IN FULL 12/08/06 :)

LLOYDS TSB: £4403.59 SETTLED IN FULL 17/08/06 :)

EGG: £451.52 SETTLED IN FULL 18/01/07 :)

If you used MCOL then you just look for enforcement options onthe site;l otherwise I would telephone the court and ask for the process to enforce a Judgement.

Nothing received in the post today!! And they can't make a last minute deposit into my account as it's closed.

So at the moment I'm waiting for a hunky courier dressed in black leathers to whizz round the corner on a motorbike bringing my cheque.

Or maybe the fairies will leave something under my pillow?!

Or I could just go to court tomorrow to arrange for the bailiffs to give them a visit. ;)

the following is a link to a web archive of abbey websites over the time click on month under year to access Abbey's site for that time period to get what the terms and conditions were for when you opened your account Internet Archive Wayback Machine hope it helps or here for where i have started to pull them out to http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/abbey-bank/91707-archives-abbeys-web-pages.html

Advice & opinions given by me are my views or how i would respond, and are not endorsed by the Consumer Action Group & are offered informally, without prejudice & without liability. Your decisions & actions are your own - if in any doubt, seek the opinion of a qualified professional

Yep, go for the bailiff option if you don't have payment there by the due date.... remember to take details of your local branch.

In addition let BankFodder know about this, as he has all the media contact details and i'm sure that he'd like the spotlight put on this.

Advice offered by ENRON is without prejudice and is for your judgement as to whether to take it. You should seek the assistance or hire of a solicitor or other paid professional if in doubt.

Great. There's nothing i'd like to see more than Lloyds being brought into line.

Warrant issued 14 Feb. It's up to the bailiffs when they choose to visit but I think they give them another few days to pay up before they go in.:(
