I'm glad you've still got a roof over your head, I really am.

Are you absolutely sure that bankruptcy is right for you? It is not the stigma that many seem to think, but it still needs to be carefully thought out.

Have you quantified all of your alleged debts? How much of it is made up of consumer credit? How many creditors that you have sent CCA requests to have come up with an enforceable agreement?

Bankruptcy may well be the right option for you if you are on benefits and have no assets, but I would like you to be absolutely sure before you go ahead.

Hello, an update on my situation. I decided not to declare myself bankrupt as finding the money was causing me extra stress & am continuing as I have been. Im not scared as much by the debt collectors as they have been harassing me for 2 years & still not taken me to court. Or possibly Im just numb.

I have been unemployed for nearly a year now & on anti-depressants due to the state the stress has left me in. I desperately want to go back to work because although I am eternally grateful fror the state benefit system & how it has saved me at this terrible time in my life, my daughter & I can barely live on the £12k per year the government gives us. But I seem to be safer from the ruthless debt collectors when unemployed. Im so depressed I think it shows through in the job interviews I have managed to get. I feel pretty worthless alot of the time.

I am slowly getting my life back together, very small steps, and having this website as an outlet amongst people who understand has been great so for that I thank you. I hope to have my life back on track by the end of this year.

Bumping this up Peepo, it's good to hear from you, though sorry to hear that you're still struggling. xx
