Marstons (acting as a DCA) Demanded +£5k for a Capital Contribution Order i didn't need to pay!!!

I would write to the same person again explaining that you felt bullied and intimidated by Marstons, and that they were taking advantage of a vulnerable elderly couple, during the worst public health and economic crisis in living memory.

 

How small your income is etc and what a massive amount £5600 is to you and you expect a full refund

you've paid this money to marstons thinking they were bailiffs, they were NOT you got had under duress.

i would be checking WHERE this money actually IS.

have the LAA actually received it?

have you any evidence of this?

or is it still in marstons pockets!!

Sorry about the double post but I woke up with the thought perhaps @HOWLERshould SAR the LAA? What do others think. Perhaps that's how he could find out exactly what happened to his £5600?

SAR to the local authority makes sense, if they do not admit to having this money.
