in process of selling my house which i didnt live in

the tenant moved out

 

received council tax bill month after but i had a offer on house so left it,

month later went on holiday to usa for a fortnight,

 

on return found a court summons letter which was held on the 4th nov the day i returned and date on letter was 17th oct

i went on hol the 23rd and hadnt received the letter before i went

 

i sold the house while i was away so i owe about 2 months max

what is the notice they sould give you for a court date

probably a few reminder letters but thats immaterial now

so they've added the fee for the LO.

 

as the property was unoccupied? you should get a discount?

have they inc that?

 

 

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

A summons must be issued at least 14 days prior to the date of the hearing.
