Another day, another TPS Parking Charge Notice courtesy of my lovely partner who keeps overstaying her welcome.

Free car park, but only for 120 minutes.

Rather than letting this one get as far as legal letters, any suggestions on an appropriate response at this time?

I cannot argue the parking conditions or signage, just don't wish to pay these cowboys.

I don't recall receiving previous notices on this one either, but as I've been battling them on another notice, I can't be certain they haven't issued them.

Letter attached. Help appreciated.

Hi

I think we will need to see the signs on the site in question. I have checked the BMPA site and they have issued around 39 thousand tickets but only taken 5 cases to court.

As you have ignored so far, it is likely to be a case of wait and see what they do.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

we cant tell you anything as without the information needed to make suggestions of why it may not be a lawful contractual obligation we are stuck. essentially you have a choice, do the necessaries to fight the claim or pay up and know that you may not have needed to do so.

The TPS claim is probably deficient in more than one way and it should be noted that these companies rely on omissions and deception to make their money
