please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Yes, post up the particulars,

don't forget that VCS never use the POFA to claim keeper liability

so they have to have cast iron evidence you were the driver at the time so that will be the first thing to consider when you have to submit a skeleton defence.

BW obviously fancy their chances at taking over from Gladstones as the lawyers who lose their clients the most money.

A full history of this event will help us enormously

so date of event,

what the alleged breach is,

where it occurred etc and

any correspondence you received and still have will be very useful.

All you have to do in the next week or so is acknowledge the claim

and tick the box saying you intend to defend in full.

You then have another fortnight to submit a skeleton defence

and after that wait for the court to send you an allocation questionnaire.

Just saying you are going to defend may well cause them to reconsider,

but as they are now paying lawyers they have some proper money invested ( well, £75 ish)

so might not want to give up quite so quickly

but you will have plenty of time to gather all of your ammunition.
