Which is exactly the reason we 'must' leave and get back our sovereignty and our dignity.

Just a side note

ECHR does not end the moment we pull out of the EU (If we do)

It is a separate institution and not one whose membership this referendum is asking about.

Personally still undecided

Waiting for positive reasons to remain. Wanting to see some.

PROS of staying

- More protection *From* Our current government

CONS of staying

- TTIP

The 25th June 2016 will be a day to remember, a day for street parties.

The day our trade with the rest of the world shot up, the day we stop migrants by the million coming here and increasing the crime levels and ripping off the real natives of this beautiful land.

If you want to try and argue that there are Brits working abroad, yes, but they are spread around 27 countries but we have 2.5 million just in this one country.

Terrorists will be able to be deported by 'our' courts and not cost us £millions running to then namby pambyies of the ECHR who are only in it for the money.

Oh dear!

Gove has a say today;

'Staying in the EU could increase the UK's population by up to 5.23m by 2030, Vote Leave has claimed, putting the NHS under "unsustainable" pressure. Justice Secretary Michael Gove said the estimates were "robust" and voting to leave the EU would strengthen the NHS. He argued the National Living Wage was an extra "pull factor" for migrants. Remain campaigners say the 5m figure is "absurd" as it is based on five states joining the EU by 2020, which they say "is not remotely on the cards...."

same

the old argument came up again today re £xxxx cld be saved and spent on the nhs (one of the pull factors, along with immigration). but, that doesnt seem convincing. as that rarely happens when there is a so called 'saving' elsewhere. i think tobyj mentioned that.

Lets hope they rip up the extra protection and immunity for bankers and financial institutions first (err what else was there???)

I find it rather strange that the post above should ridicule bankers,

(not that I have much faith in them myself) and yet you are quite

happy to go along with them ( Goldman Sachs, Bank of England)

when it suits you in relation to their support for the EU.

My post No;575 puts the argument in relation to small businesses,

yet you make no comment on this I wonder if you think they will be

better off by staying in this undemocratic club, as most of them

don’t think so.

You addressing that at me?

You have got to be kidding regarding Goldman Sachs

I'll listen to, and consider what the Bank of England has to say,

BUT I'd rather try to interpret financial revelations in messages from the beyond hidden in the noises my backside makes after a night on far too much bad lager, rather than give any credence whatsoever to anything any of the other tax avoiding, self interested, Mammon devoted City Institutions (aka XXXXXXX XXXX XX XXX XXXXX) spout.

and that made the bleeper work overtime

You aint talking to the Financial Institutions pet female dog here.

If you want that - whistle and shout 'Here Cam'

So you don't agree with Goldman Sachs then ,

so why are you agreeing with them that we should stay in the EU,

or is it that you don't agree with [just them[/i] saying we should stay

in the EU but you agree with others that we should stay?????

NHS facing £2bn deficit because of the EU orders that we have open borders.

257,000 came here from the EU last year. Remember how the influx increased when Poland and Romania joined, well there are another 5 countries in the pipeline to join.

More Brits out of work, pressure on councils and the welfare system.

There is only one way to end all this, and sensible people will take that way and vote out.

Its not a matter of me agreeing with them or not, I dont care, NOR do I place any credence whatsoever on ANYTHING they say, (be it in, out or shake it all about)

although for their own reasons (which i am sure will bare little relationship with their stated reasons) their statements might agree with my opinion from time to time.

I assure everyone that any similarity between any of their statements, and my opinion, is purely circumstantial.

Do you work for them by any chance?

I agree with everything you have said Conniff. Beyond the new iron curtain of the European regulatory

and tariff wall lies a world full of opportunities. It is time for Britain to leave the EU and re-join the

world beyond the wall.

It is time to free ourselves from the shackles of a 1950s institution driven by unelected commissioners

frequently recruited from superannuated politicians as a consolation prize for having lost elections.

It is time to trade on our own terms, not only with the EU but also with the rest of the world, as we did

before General de Gaulle held up our entry to the EEC while he stitched up the Common Agricultural

Policy so that subsidies for French farmers would be paid for substantially by Britain and Germany.

It is no coincidence that our west coast ports like Liverpool and Glasgow have declined since we turned

our backs on the Commonwealth in favour of an EEC (now EU) that shares with Antarctica the distinction

of having enjoyed zero economic growth during the last ten years. Leaving the EU now will enable us to

share in global growth.

Before the EU enstrangled us in its clinical trials directive, Britain conducted 12% of the world’s clinical trials;

now we do only 1%. EU’s obsession with regulating everything into a straitjacket on the pretext of “harmonisation

” kills invention and entrepreneurial development, benefiting only big businesses that can afford the cost of

compliance and lobbying to kill off competition; and NGOs (pseudo-charitable quangos) that depend on it to fund

their CEOs and lobbying operations.

Ill-treat that statement with the contempt it deserves.

In the 1950s, when the watchwords were ’bigger is better’, EEC looked like a

worthwhile venture. That was a world in which only 50% of British homes had

a telephone, letter postage cost 3d, the USSR held sway over its Eastern

European Empire, central heating was a luxury, double glazing almost unheard

of and charities managed without CEOs commanding salaries beyond most of

our dreams.

The world has moved on. Global connectivity gives advantage to the nimble

and inventive while the EU is still floundering under the bureaucratic

top-hamper of a 1950-60s time warp.

Independent nations like Switzerland and New Zealand are flourishing while

the EU lumbers from crisis to chaos. It is high time for us to leave the fusty

world of Brussels bureaucrats to those who like that sort of thing; time for

Britain to re-join the World and flourish.

The choice for us on June 23rd is not between Little Englanders and the rest;

it is between an inward-looking, outdated confabulation of superannuated

political has-beens and a renaissance of the British free spirit.

There will be risks, whichever way we go; but never mind the risks, feel the rewards.

Go for it!

You mean polluted atmosphere, rivers and water tables like China, America and India while the richest 1% get richer and richer, and everyone else gets poorer and poorer and their children grow up in a poisoned landscape to die young and ill?

Where the poor scrabble for underpaid jobs in dangerous factories, working like battery chickens to make the rich richer because there is nothing else?

Where your pension would be worthless because the funds and their managers have moved to untouchable British tax havens?

Just answer once in your life.

Thats rich

Why will coming out of Europe mean polluted atmosphere, rivers and water tables and for who ??

TTIP - look for yourself at the American requirements and look at what fracking has done to the US water tables aside from the poisened water into towns news

Look at China and Indias poisoned rivers and choking smog ridden cities

What has India and China got to do with us being sensible and coming out of Europe and pollution in the UK ??

Because these are the 'major economies' who are a big chunk of the 'rest of the world' 'beyond the boundaries of the EU' we would need to trade with? Duuhhh

Its how they save on costs - so we would have to to compete - or fail.

I love the EU and think the UK should be part of a federal Europe. We could remove the monarchy and have the President of the EU as also President of the UK. We could remove all flags and national anthems, with all countries using the EU flag/anthem.

If this infuriates nationalists, i just love that !

We could do with some help from you.

More made up rubbish. So what has that got to do with UK air and rivers being polluted ?

Already answered that if that was what you were actually looking for.
