my husband has been at this gym since the beginning of the year

he don't know if it is on a contract and

he wants to cancel

I've looked on their website and

it says there is an admission fee of £25 is that correct.

would we have to pay it?

thanks

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Dernawi,

You need to get a copy of the m/ship agreement from the gym, to find out if :-

1. YH is on a 12 month agreement, or a rolling monthly agreement.

2. There's a clause requiring a cancellation fee.

As DX say, let us know what gym this is, and also whether there's a Mgt Co involved.

:-)

We could do with some help from you

Hi Derwani,

DWF manage their own m/ships but will use ARC (Europe) as their DCA to collect "arrears".

It's our opinion that all Admin Fees added for late payment by gyms, their admin Co's or their DCA's are unlawful and unenforceable. We always tell CAGgers to refuse to pay any such additions.

Let us know about items 1 and 2 in my post above, so we can advise further.
