Hello, I have been a customer of "PerfectHome" for about a year now. I have just missed 2 weeks payments due to being out of work and now have them knocking at my door.

I have buried my head in the sand and avoided them as they have put a note though the door saying that they are going to contact the police as the goods still belong to them.

Are they allowed to do this and what rights do they have?

Thank you in advance

Pressure tactics again... Just like Brighthouse etc,

Im guessing youve either, PAid off a 1/3 of the item or are about too?

If so the item cannot just be "taken"

It involves courts etc, unless you voluntarily give it up.

We could do with some help from you.

Hi

If less than a third is paid, they can only take back things that are outside. Under no circumstances are they allowed to enter your home without your permission to repossess anything. As for getting the police involved, Make copies of that note as what they have said is totally out of order.

Formal complaint time.

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites ...

http://freejpgtopdf.com/

..

if you have multiple scans/pics

put them in a word doc FIRST and convert that to PDF

or http://www.freepdfconvert.com/

use www.pdfmerge.com

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

..

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though dont use full bank names or CAG in the title

Just a piece of advice as I had a really rough year and was given this advice by a close friend who is an employee....and may help others who find themselves in a similar situation.... If you ARE in difficulty with making a payment...mine was due to a mix up with Tax Credits and the stupidity of someone handling my claim left me 5 weeks living on just child benefit....obviously I couldn't afford to pay and spoke with them they have the facility to do a reduced payment I think its for 4 maybe 5 weeks, I paid £.50 per item each week for those weeks I think that the minimum is £.10 however during the reduced rate they were more than pleasant at the end of the reduced period I was not hassled in any way to make up the difference I just continued on with my usual payments. And no i'm not an advocate of Perfect Homes....I have had real bad service from places like Bright House in the past and won my fights with them....but just feel this is an option Perfect Homes SHOULD let struggling customers know as not everything in life runs as smoothly as we hope and had it not be for my friend I would have found myself in similar circumstances.

I'm fighting back and ready to go :D who will be my first victim? LBL, Brighthouse.

I am not here to insult or offend...just to offer advice and seek advice as all this is a learning experience, such is the cycle of life...for those that would wish to insult me for my thoughts or deeds...Stay Blessed for I know my heart is pure with no ill thought towards YOU.

One one of my items i have paid more than half, but I then "stupidly" took another item with them, so you can see my concearn :|

Each item is an individual contract and as such they can only take the item that is less than third paid ....anything 3rd or more than paid they dnt have the rights to.
