Hey, I'm new to this forum and looking for some advice.

I got an HTC OneX plus on a new contract at the end of December.

Until yesterday it has been great,

but when I went to charge it yesterday it wouldn't work.

According to the advisor in the vodafone shop the usb port has been pushed in slightly and therefore not holding a charge.

Due to not having taken out insurance he said it may not be covered and I might have to pay for a repair up to £65.

Considering I have only used the charger supplied and it is only over a month old surely this is a manufacturer fault

and should be covered by my one year warranty.

They will contact me through the week to let me know the situation.

Can anyone advise me on where I stand?

Thanks

We thought it would be nice to introduce ourselves and to assure you all that our presence on CAG is with the very best of intentions.

vodafone UK has recently introduced a dedicated Web Relations Team which is keen to seek out customers who’re having difficulties with their accounts and feel that they have no other place to turn to than CAG and other consumer forums and blogs.

Naturally, it’s not possible for us to help directly with account specific queries on CAG and as such we would encourage those members who feel we can help them to contact us privately at [email protected] quoting ‘WRT135 – CAG Forum’ in the subject line.

When emailing us we would also ask that you either provide us with a link to your post or thread – if you’ve posted in another member’s thread please also provide your CAG username so that we can check what your query is.

Many thanks

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi gaz0301,

In the event that you require any further assistance you're welcome to email me with your details via the Contact us form here with the code WRT135 - CAG Forum quoted in the subject line.

Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. To ensure that it reaches me could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

Kind regards,
