Lost passport

Have my passport in my hands, but tried to travel and boarding admission said my passport is been reported lost and stolen.

 

How can i check for myself?

Is there a website?

Hi,

 

I can't really answer your question but found this on the Home Office website......

 

For passport advice, call

0300 222 0000

8am - 8pm Monday to Friday

9am - 5.30pm weekends and public holidays

 

 

Calls to 0300 numbers are charged at your network provider's standard national rate.

Thank you for the reply but problem is its Sunday and need to now status of passport is there an online service I can check?

It's a friend his traveling to USA for a week then Australia to live.

Yeah he was told his passport has been reported as lost/ stolen so his passport was void.

How strange how could this have happen?

Any ideas???

Which country are you in ?

If its UK then border control officers should be able to sort this out.

Need more information.

My friend got refused at heathrow.

Would like more I do yes please.

Was they transiting from somewhere else or just taking the flight from HR ?

Is your friend a UK citizen and if not do you know if they have taken biometric tests ?

Has your friend got any other form of ID ?

When did they last use the passport ?

Your friend needs to be asking to speak to immigration control manager,they can do further checks on the database to see whats going on.

Did they take away the passport when they said had reported stolen ?

If so did they give a reciept ?

Do they accept that your friend is the person on the passport ?

I was not at the airport at the time.

So for sure my friend never asked to speak to the immigration control manager.

 

If they took his passport I will findout and write ASAP.

They last question also will get back ASAP.

Thank you Martin for your help, my friend has had his passport issue resolved.

He had his old passport reported lost so they put a block on both his passports. But today he went to passport office got it resolved. Once again thank you for your help
