I have recently had correspondence with this DCA representing a Lloyd s bank with regards to a loan.

I made them a offer of 50% however they did not accept it and have said that I have to pay at least 65%.

I have explained that i cannot get that sort of funds and have thus said that i will pay£50 per month.

I have paid the 1st payment however after reading a few threads on this site it has been brought to my attention that every time I make a payment the default starts its 6 years all over.

I have thought that maybe i should send them a CCA( which if I am correct is a request for the original credit application forms).

what would you recommend and can someone please direct me to a template for the CCA.

I was thinking of maybe getting them to accept a lower m monthly payment until they accept my full and final offer of 50%.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi av

The Templates are found in the library on the black bar above. Have a read of 4, 5 and 6 in my signature. Have you been mis-sold PPI on the loan? You should only pay what you can comfortable afford, food, bills etc come first. If it's a £1 so be it.

Also don't speak to them over the phone, everything in writing.

Also read 8,7 and 9.

No there is only one default date for the debt,

but a default drops off after 6 years paid or not.

Templates are all in the CAG library link at the

top of the forum.

It's a request for a copy of the original signed

and executed credit agreement,regulated by

the CCA 1974.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

urm...

offering a discounted settlement ...something smells here robberaway.

tell us the history of this loan with rough dates etc

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
